  1. Dodgers probably are VERY interested. Bauer may be done not only this year...but his career. LA Times had an article today that stated the clubhouse doesn't want him back at all and legally/league discipline surely could void his contract.
  2. okay. got my heart racing for a second. Definitely fine with that and hope they can find a righty that could be controllable in case Yaz has anymore injury issues.
  3. Since we are DREAMING as you said here... The following three moves: Buxton for Crochet/Burger + - quite simply the outfield defense with Buxton would be insane. Imagine 7th inning on in the playoffs of Engel-Robert-Buxton. DROOL. He will cost a lot, but if Crochet isn't maximized as a starter by late 2022, he may be ruined and not worth holding onto. Buxton was offered 7/76 which is pathetic and the Sox could lock him up for something much more realistic but manageable - say 6/110. Yes the injuries suck, but the gamble for what he can be is just too hard to dream away. Semien for Hauer/Stievers or Dahlquist - I think Toronto would move him for pitching, and obviously the names are open for debate. Marcus is playing well, and has some playoff experience. Daniel Hudson for Adolfo/Stievers + - Not sure exactly what the Nationals would want for a rental but with schwarber potentially leaving they have some power needs in the outfield. Hudson would be a nice return story and has great playoff experience and stability. Dream big...win big. I honestly only think Hudson can/will happen, but if I was GM and making three impact moves, those put this team as clear favorite this season, and retaining Buxton long term solves RF but puts team in a future SP deficiency. with Kopech going to SP role next season, Crochet could be the odd man out anyways so get maximum value today while you still can.
  4. Take away one game from the reds last week and he is hitting .197 with 4 homers this year. (he had 3 hits and 2 homers that game). I know he is overcoming some injuries, but he is on a contract year and AWFUL so far. He would need quite a second half turnaround to make it worthwhile, and honestly he is looking like a 1 year prove it deal upcoming, which the Mets would most likely do. Will be interesting to see what he does the next 2 months.
  5. Benetti is a treasure. Never let anyone tell you differently
  6. This post brought to you by Beggars! Seriously though, this trade makes zero sense for the Mariners or Sox.
  7. The site header is about to get much more transparent the next two weeks!!
  8. Damnit. Blocked on MLB.tv. im a cord cutter you blackout bastards.
  9. They are playing on the road in an NL park against the best three pitcher rotation in baseball outside of the White Sox rotation. Of course they were going to lose 2 of 3 for sure. Hopefully on national tv tonight they can salvage some of this and play a clean game.
  10. Well it's been just a peach. Enjoy your nights gentlemen.
  11. Carlos just made more contact than almost the whole starting lineup...
  12. that is why I am torn at Escobar over Frazier. Power would be nice...but come playoff time...contact will matter.
  13. cue the benny hill and get collins the fuck off the major league roster.
  14. I forgot about start time...kinda wish i can forget about this game already.
  15. Whelp. That was their chance. Gonna need a miracle now.
  16. dumping lefty starters and getting Cruz for potential matchup against Sox in ALCS. Brilliant 4D chess move.
  17. I really love Eloy being ready...but damn I was so hoping for Eloy and Robert to emerge from the corn in Iowa and lead this team to like 105 wins and a world series.
  18. fun fact, our agency got asked if we wanted to help with the rebrand...but we have never done a sports team before, so we declined. Maybe should have if it was going to be this lazy.
  19. yeah, they literally didn't change the font. unreal.
