  1. A guy with a .528 ops isnt someone you want up with the label tying run?
  2. He's a 250 babip guy with the shift. So he's missing about 75 points which puts him at 250ish.
  3. Ewww Tim anderson uses an A2000 SS glove. How do you not use a heart of the hide SS glove?
  4. Great job by severino there. With that ball looking over your head to break back is pretty sharp.
  5. Lol sometimes all you can do is shake your head. That was so bad.
  6. Come on Benetti. There was no chance they walked him when it was 1-2 lol.
  7. His stuff is fine. It's not great or "good." Slider doesnt have a ton of depth but has some late bite. Fastball is straight and not very hard or heavy. Curveball is a nice change of pace but it's not great by any means. A show me pitch kind of.
  8. What? For AC joint inflammation? No.
  9. To me it's that simple. My college coach would not have been critical of the lead runner at all. Same for any coaches prior to that. It honestly is that simple. You're looking too far into this. Tim's job on a deep fly ball to center is not to look where Jose Abreu is. Part of Abreu's job is to know where the lead runner is.
  10. It was 100% Abreu's fault. The trail runner is responsible for knowing where the lead runner is - that's literally all there is to it. The trail runner has the lead runner in front of him while the lead runners job is to focus on the play in front of him. I said it then but this isnt even queationable. Cali you're breaking this down far too much. It's as simple as the trial runner needs to always know where the lead runner is. That's baseball fundamentals 101.
  11. Gordon Beckham is still in the league. He wasnt rushed. Hes just simply not good enough at hitting a baseball.
  12. Baseball has changed. No longer are players going to sit in the minor leagues until theyre 24 years old. Teams are calling up talent younger and younger. This would be the white Sox joining the club. Adjustments need to be made at the big league level. Some will fail and some will figure it out. Look at Tim Anderson as exhibit A.
  13. This year has been fun. The Sox might have an elite left side of the infield. That's a damn tough thing to find. Eloy will be fine. Tuning in to watch those three is well worth it. Last year was tough, this year has been fun. Offense is fun.
  14. Because it was high enough that Tim figured it was either gone or caught and if it was caught he was tagging and if it was gone he didnt need to be anywhere. If a runner is passed on the bases, barring someone sprinting backwards, it is almost always the fault of the trail runner.
  15. The exception is for the home run I imagine - because the ball is dead. If that was a fly ball that was dropped for example, both runners would return to their respective bases. It's not really a stupid rule - unless you think they should make an exception for a home run. They already allow the runners to score though.
  16. You shouldn't be able to pass the base runner in front of you. I'm not sure why that's a question. I'd actually blame Abreu more than Anderson there. Abreu has the play and everything in front of him - including Tim.
