What scouts? Please just quote me one scout that has said this. Just one.
-
Lol well he wasnt since he was the 30th ranked international signee in his class and was not considered a serious prospect by anyone hence what he signed for. Lol at 1-1
-
Baez has horrible strike zone command in general. He strikes out a ton and never walks. The duration of his peak will be very short.
-
Well, this is 100% wrong but OK.
-
Behind. Lol. You are b****ing about losing Marcus Semien and Omar Navarez. It's nonsense.
-
It's not high at all. They just signed him for 8 years and 77 million. His 2 FA years alone, if he pans out, could be worth 60+ million.
-
Name on scout that thinks Moncada sucks now. SS isn't more closely aligned with 2nd than 3rd. Jesus Christ you make up and say the oddest things. The Scouting Community ranks Collins as a above average catching prospects in baseball but if you want to keep spewing complete and utter nonsense go right ahead.
-
Yes, Semien had one decent year. He was a nothing prospect - once again - that the Sox helped develop into an MLB player. Losing him has no impact on the team today, and is not something any other fan base would dwell on.
-
Turned into? Only White Sox fans b**** about losing Marcus Semien and Tyler Flowers.
-
Alex Bregman really wasn't much better than Moncada in his first taste of the big leagues. And why is Vlad on the list? He's never even seen a MLB pitch and you have already put him into a class with Soto and Acuna. My goodness. 50% of his defensive value lol. 3rd base grades out as a more important defensive position than 2nd slightly so no... he didn't just lose 50% of his value.
-
So a back up catcher is a "good talent?"] We'll agree to disagree.
-
Yes, if there two top catching prospects suck they'll have to look elsewhere. I didn't realize that was news. You know who wasn't the answer at catcher going forward? Omar Navarez.
-
Moncada was a league average player at 22/23. In what world has a lot more gone wrong than right with him? He has holes. He needs to fix the holes, but for the floor of a player to be league average is OK with me.

traded good talent for colome lol

Sox vs. Arizona March 20th 2019
Look at Ray Ray Run replied to Insp's topic in 2019 Season in Review
Once again, these comps are awful. Floyd and Garland were light years better than Giolito. -
No. But it doesnt matter.
-
He's starting the season as the starting outfielder of the big club. This isn't a question at this point
-
Lol you guys are nuts. He comes up now.

A historically lucky championship is the cardinals team that won like 83 games. Nothing about wire to wire best in league and 11-1 in post season is historically lucky.
-
Theres absolutely nothing complimentary about someone telling you that you won something - especially a title - because of luck. Have you ever competed at anything in your life? I imagine you have. To claim calling a win historically lucky is a compliment is so laughable idk what to say. There's nothing complimentary about being called a lucky winner.
-
Yes, if things went wrong instead of right for the championship team they wouldn't have won. They lost one postseason game and you're creating a way for them to not get out of round 1. Gtfo. Historical luck. My goodness. Literally none of the things you listed are historically lucky. 1. 6 starting pitchers? Yes, injury "luck" but a tale of self boosted luck. For 20 years the white Sox had the fewest pitchers on the DL due to an organizational process. 2. Someone with influence in the organization talking up a player to a GM is not abnormal and certainly not lucky. 3. Dye did the right thing. A verbal contract - FTR - is binding. If he agreed he agreed. Certainly not lucky. 4. Errors happen every single day. 5. Errors followed up by home runs happen all the time. 6. Pitchers get out of bases loaded jams with no outs many times in a baseball season. The one thing they were historically good/lucky (however you look at it) at was 1 run games.

Historical luck? Give me a fucking break.

Trout about to sign 12/430 deal
Look at Ray Ray Run replied to Sleepy Harold's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Trout is probably twice as good as machado. -
At this point, some White Sox fans are like the husbands that b**** about their wives for 3 decades, 24 hours a day.
