  1. And my point is it's not indicative of anything other than a bunch of guys are hurt.
  2. The ones who are hurt and clearly part of the future. I'm also inclined to call it 9, as there's one in the minors who should be on the roster.
  3. Calling it 5 and not 8 is at least being a little disingenuous. And again I'll point to the teams that have successfully pulled themselves out of tanks 2014 rosters.
  4. He's actually worse at that than Tilson
  5. I'd be perfectly happy if the Sox were consistently in the bottom half of the league in manager salary.
  6. I mean, I honestly believe Madrigal would be a minor step up from Yolmer at this point. But yeah, Idk
  7. It's gotta be so awkward for all the chaff on this roster.
  8. I'm not sure if I want him to work out because it'd help the team, or because it would be reassuring to outsmart the Astros. Edit: I assumed I was behind on him getting a hit or something
  9. I don't believe he's actually tried to since 2016
  10. Even if it was his call, someone needs to get in his ear and tell him he's one of the better hitters in baseball so stop.
  11. It says foul bunt on game day for the first pitch of Yoans AB. Is that true? If so, W T F
  12. The infielder not the closer lol
  13. Well considering the following guys still have yet to be named, I'd say no. Not really sure how he hadn't ended up on the prospect listing though. I didn't think Moncada would be so high tbh. Acuña Bellinger Soto Albies Bregman Tatis Jr Vlad Jr Chapman Trout Yelich
  14. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/2019-trade-value-11-to-20/ Came in as the #18 most valuable asset in baseball according to FG. Eloy and TA were both honorable mentions
  15. On their own I think both could be had, what I'm saying is it'd be kinda tough to get both at the same time. They both would take mid tier prospects and the Sox don't exactly have a plethora of those. Also I'm pretty sure Dietrich is under control in 2021 as well.
  16. Minus Gerrit Cole, that isn't an offseason that can't imagine the White Sox having. Trading for Nimmo and Dietrich would be pretty tough though I think. But I really would like them both, I need people who know how to take a gd walk.
  17. The biggest thing is that the bottom of the league is such a mess. There are sooooo many teams tanking that the Sox have absolutely no shot of catching, short of completely starting over. They need to find some exit velocity ASAP
  18. They might not compete, but it won't and absolutely should not be for a lack of trying. Punting another year of controllable assets to get like the number 8 pick at best is the absolute dumbest thing they could do.
  19. The Sox are 10 months away from having one of the best young cores in baseball that runs between 7 and 10 guys deep, all pre-arb or on long extensions. Doubt the FO all you want, but 6 games in June doesn’t change the fact that they’re in the best long term position they’ve ever been, and that that position is real close to being bearing fruit.
