He was drafted so high because there was some chance of him being a truly elite hitting catcher, don't know that he'd even be a top 30 pick if not for that.
Because there is absolutely zero chance the secondary market is affected at all by this. And if your concerned about the secondary market not renewing right before your tickets might actually be worth something over nets is seriously short sighted.
Not really sure what the point would be, or if the point would be worth the trouble. Not like you can high five someone over the dugout, and fans are still able to get balls tossed to them.
I've seen Tim go over the netting a bunch this year.
Nor I, but your dealing with a much more complicated situation with a baseball stadium than football I would imagine.
Nets need to be sturdier, are much larger, aren’t straight across etc. etc.
Miami has them extended way out into the outfield and they have doors in the nets I believe.
I suppose it's not guaranteed that they'll have that, but I would imagine they do.
I would say I would like to see the Cubs cease to exist, but then I would have to sit next to some Winnekta dudebro and listen to him talk about how scary Bridgeport is at Sox games. So I guess they aren't all bad.
Nova has given up 1 run as many times as he’s given up more than 5. He holds teams <= 4 most of the time. I’m not saying he doesn’t suck, he does, but he’s not getting his tits blown off every single time he takes the mound.
