Moncada is the best player on the team even without the power showing up lmao

Is it time to give TLR his due? And maybe some apologies?

He does things on a fairly regular basis that hurt the Sox wining odds, (bunting at bad times, not positioning the defense well) but any impact he may or may not have on the teams psychology is a big ole shrug. And yes I'll always give the lions share of credit to the players because Tony, or any manager, can pull any strings they want but all that matters is if the player gets the job done. If any one of the guys Ricky called on in that debacle in Oakland came in and threw strikes, we're probably sitting here and complaining about him mishandling Hendricks right now. -
The two bombs today notwithstanding

He’s in it. Hopefully one of Rodon and Lynn still is too. Otherwise probably the same.

It doesn’t move as much

Those poor poor kids

He's not going to jail

Hell probably go through them all

An Eloy is never late, Frodo Baggins, nor is he early he arrives precisely when he is meant to
-
I’m almost certain he will pitch again. I just hope it’s not for my team.

Not to mention however many seats in a given year are paid for

Things are not looking good in the long term for ole Trevor

Being willing to punt several millions of Eaton money would be signs of that more than anything -
Need Eloy to come in on a horse like Gandalf at Helms Deep

He’s fine. The stupid shit he did was still stupid but he deserves some credit for holding things together. but even still, I’ll always give that credit to the players. -
Doesn't it HAVE to be by the end of the month if he isn't re-IL'd
-
I don't think that is what this person was trying to say

It’s July 2. the White Sox are on pace for 98 wins. Jose Abreu, Tim Anderson, Eloy Jimenez, Luis Robert, Lucas Giolito and Yoan Moncada (this one is kind bs he’s been great) are basically ancillary characters on a team that has “no depth”

With everyone healthy what is your lineup for game 1 of the playoffs?
mqr replied to brijames1957's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Eloy, Robert, Vaughn, Goodwin, Sheets, Hamilton, Engel, Garcia. Only one of those guys is a “complete” player and there’s only two I would call “good”. But I truly believe every single one (except maybe sheets, which I will fully cop to maybe jumping the gun) brings more to the table than Eaton. Right now if you asked me to pick five, since I think eloy will do a lot of DHing, and assuming all are healthy I’m taking Eloy, Robert, Vaughn, Engel and Garcia. Hamilton has value as a d sub and base running and is actually hitting okay all of the sudden. Goodwin is a nice piece, and I think sheets is a pretty okay lefty power bat. Eaton brings nothing to the table except scrappy bullshit. -

I could be wrong but I think Moncada played in it after his cup of coffee in Boston. Might have more to do with timing. -

I think it’s an mlb thing not a nbc thing. Boog was on the radio saying the hall of fame called him for his no hitter score card and then called back and said they didn’t want it cuz he wasn’t there. jason has been vocal about it and called out mlb -

Not having broadcasters at the game is damn dumb
