I will not have faith until he is not the literal worst pitcher in baseball. They may fix him, but he stinks and will continue to stink in my brain until he shows otherwise.
Because in this hypothetical both corners are manned for the foreseeable future. Pederson should not be an everyday center fielder, especially flanked by Harper and Eloy. I'm not giving up prospects for that.
Convincing yourself that the Sox are in this is like textbook seeing whatever narrative makes you feel good. 90% sure that an insider could come in and say in definitive terms that the white sox are OUT, and there'd be 5 or 6 people telling me that's just misdirection
There's no way that the young guys play close to good enough to feel good moving forward and they lose more than 90ish games. Ex-prospects will be half the team by august.
I can't even imagine my thought process if the Sox somehow pulled that off (they won't). 'Well, that's awesome, but you still manage to completely botch it on your guy.'
