I get the angst about anything the sox do......BUT, at this point Gary Sanchez would be very good addition to this team, if that is what happens. He had a good year behind the plate last year and he provides power at the plate, something we severely lacked last year. The other aspect of this is who are you going to get at the Catcher position right now that is better than Gary Sanchez? Don't forget Yaz hit 3 homeruns last year and basically sucked as a catcher.

Do any of our insiders know if there is any truth to this.....

I'm on board with this. Joe Kelly had a bad year but that is not his track record. There is a high probability he bounces back this year.

Too much hate for Leury. He was used the wrong way last year. I think you will see that change this year and he will have a better year. He should be playing once a week..... you will see that.

Love Jose and what he did for the WS. I'm not mad at all with Jose not being paid $20 mil a year. It was time to put AV in his natural position and let him take off from there. This also allowed us to sign AB.........ditto to what you said in your post. This team is in a better position and better constructed now because Jose is not on the team anymore (That is not a knock on Jose).
