  1. The state legislature is supposed to meet in May to vote on the stadium funding issue.
  2. If those underlying metrics don't kick in soon all they're going to get for him is a pallet of broken bats and a trough of used baseballs.
  3. Irrational hot takes for everyone! You get an irratioanl hot take! You get an irrational hot take! You get an irrational hot take!
  4. Appenzeller finally made his season debut. He was good and will only get better.
  5. That was one of the least athletic plays I've ever seen. Benintendi is just awful. LOL
  6. Wow. McCarthy has been god awful this year.
  7. He's thrown 80 something innings over the last 3+ years. If he manages to stay healthy he'll very likely be able to pitch out of the bullpen this year. I don't think starting is in his future.
  8. When Meidroth comes back Sosa can not see one second at 2B. Good god
  9. Boozer looks really good. I'm surprised Boston let him go. He's what playoff teams look for. If he continues to throw it like this he's gonna be very popular at the trade deadline.
  10. Cannon is a bulldog. Dude just battles. If he can clean up a couple things and stay away from that big inning he's gonna be a solid starter in this league.
  11. Bonemer was very good in the summer/fall and was considered a top half of the 1st round guy going into the spring. In one of my stupid early mocks I had him going to the Tigers at 1-11. Then he went out and had a terrible spring and I'm not sure why. Maybe he was playing thru something or maybe he made an adjustment and it didn't work. Whatever the reason he was bad but if he's the guy from the summer/fall and not the guy from the spring which is the direction he's trending he's gonna be an absolute steal.
  12. This dude can play the hell out of CF.
  13. It's a good thing they're in the minors where they get to work on that.
  14. Meidroth is the love child of Larry Bird and Dan McNeil.
