  1. I'm told the state legislature is meeting next month to decide on how much funding they're going to provide to a new stadium. It's not going to be enough so that's when the s%*# should really hit the fan.
  2. I don't think those numbers are accurate but it doesn't matter. He's not selling.
  3. Another great Masters week. So happy for Rory but would have been equally happy for Rosey. What he did yesterday was incredible.
  4. https://www.sportingnews.com/us/mlb/new-york-mets/news/new-mets-trade-idea-proposes-50-million-all-star-replacement-jose-siri/d81833953d35e83a5d95b7d7
  5. It wouldn't surprise me if they took a pitcher at 1-10 then a bunch of hitters after but it would surprise me if they took that pitcher.
  6. No. Every 18 year old has room for improvement.
  7. I'd send him out as a SS knowing that by the time he gets to AA there will probably be someone better. He'll be fine at 3B or 2B.
  8. It's criminal what Hahn/Haber did to this organization.
  9. The first baseman was blocking the bag and Antonacci went in hard to the inside of the base. Love it. That's the type of player he is.
  10. That should have been an easy block for Lee. Good god he sucks.
  11. I haven't heard his name but I sure hope they have interest.
  12. He's really nothing like Madrigal. He has a strong, twitchy, athletic body. He is a legit plus runner and it looks like he'll be able to play an above avg CF. He may end up with 8-10 home run power but that's still a pretty good player especially if they can get him in the 2nd round or maybe they underslot him at 1-10 and push a guy (Bauer?) down. Again I don't know where they think he fits.
  13. Madrigal Derangement Syndrome. LOL
  14. It's pretty disappointing. Houston is the only one left standing for me and I don't think he'll be there at 1-10. Aloy has a good shot at sticking at SS but he has too much swing and miss and lacks feel to hit. Arquette is not a SS and after a hot start he's really fallen off and has been avg at best. Curley is not a SS either and has a jacked up swing. There are concerns if he will consistently hit an inside fastball. Cannarella's shoulder injury seems a little more serious than anyone thought. He's still playing an outstanding CF but he's not impacting the baseball. The good news is the HS guys are showing well. I don't think Holliday or Carlson will be there but Willits, Gamble, Neyens and Fien and maybe a couple more should all be in the mix. One thing I did hear is they like RJ Austin. I'm not sure if they have him in the mix at 1-10. 2-44 seems more likely.
