HS baseball has to ban bat flips. HS football banned spiking the ball after a touchdown and it's time for baseball to do the same. That's just ridiculous.

They need Tim back like they need oxygen. This feels like the longest DL stay in the history of baseball.

He shouldn't be in this role. Pitching in short stints at max effort in high leverage situations isn't helping him develop as a pitcher. It makes less sense everyday.

I'm sure they told Crochet to throttle back a little to save his arm the long haul. I just don't understand why they continue to put such an inexperienced pitcher in during extra innings when the smallest mistakes can cost you game.

That is so incredibly stupid. That is not what video replay was designed for.

Bachman might be the most interesting player in the draft. It is so ugly and he does so many things wrong but what comes out of his hand is unbelievable. This will be a goood test to see if teams are getting less concerned about what happens in back and only interested in what happens out front because this dude is horrible in back and incredible out front.

It's also ridiculous to compare other draft classes because the baseball draft is not like the football or basketball drafts. The best players aren't always taken in order because money plays such a huge role on who is taken where. For example the Cubs took Kyle Schwarber with the 4th pick and signed him for $3.125M while the Sox took Nick Madrigal and signed him for $6.1M. Factoring in the money spent greatly changes the calculus for those picks.
