Here's a couple more cold weather HS names to remember. Colson Montgomery and Noah Miller. I'd line them up Montgomery, Miller, Mooney. It's a very good year for HS shortstops.

It's amazing what happens when a talented player finally dedicates himself to putting the work in during the off season.

They like some college pitchers who likley won't be avaialble (Ty Madden, Sean Burke, Jordan Wicks). They like Joe Rock but if he keeps throwing like this he won't be available either. I've heard they like some HS bats (Benny Montgomery, Wes Kath, Izaac Pacheco). I'm really hoping that's the direction they go.

You can add Jeff Hoffman and Eric Fedde in with that group too. Drafting TJ guys is a mixed bag so I doubt he would be in play for the Sox. I could see him going to a team with multiple picks so they can hedge their bets. Cincy at 30 looks like a good landing spot for him.

TJ for Jaden Hill. I hate everything.

He still has some mental hurdles to get over. He gives up some hard contact and then becomes afraid of the bat. He starts overthrowing and badly misses his spots then the walks start piling up. He has to learn how to forget what happened and focus on getting the next hitter out. It's called limiting the damage. It's an art of pitching that seems lost on the new age pitchers who are simply focused on throwing it as hard as they can.
