MLB 2020-21 off season catch all

I was thinking Jared Kelley and Cody Heuer (if they sign Hendriks). I don't want to think about Carrett Grochet because my head would explode. -

What would they want for Gavin Lux. Hmmmmmm...... -
If the Cardinals decide to go in a different direction it could be the best spot for him. LaRussa would sell it as a time share like with McCann. He likes playing for LaRussa, he's familar with Lynn and the team is ready to win.

Do you still have a hit out on me if I say Madier Yolina?

If he doesn't he's going to have a very unhappy pitching staff on his hands. -

Collins is not the answer. McCann started 45% of the games last season because he had to. They need the 2nd catcher to be strong defensively and that's not Collins. -
They ruined Rodon and Fulmer by rushing them to the big leagues. It's the White Sox way. They always want to open the present and play with the new shiny thing rather than taking the time for him to develop into the best pitcher he can be. Reinsdorf loves his cheap pitchers.
-
I don't agree, Once he is in the system they should evaluate him for the role he has the best chance to excel in. How he was used as an amatuer does not factor in. Getz said they're going to use him as a reliever and try to mix in some starts. That's middling him. They should put him in a role and keep him there. Pitching in the big leagues is hard enough there is no reason to put extra pressure on a 22 yr old to train for 2 different roles.
-
Why? Nearly every pitcher on the staff has had TJ. Why would Crochet be treated differently?
-
Bears fans are idiots. If not the dumbest fanbase in all sports they're definitely in the team photo.
-
It sounds like they're going to try to middle him which is the worst thing they can do for his long term development. They need to decide if he is a starter or reliever and develop him accordingly. I think they should develop him as a starter but I would much rather they just make him a full time reliever rather than yoyoing him between the two roles. Rushing his development to get value out of him now is a recipe for disaster and this dude is too special to fuck with like that.

Dodgers sign Bauer (3/102, opt-outs, 40-45-17)
Harold's Leg Lift replied to Jose Abreu's topic in The Diamond Club
She's his girlfriend/side piece. He's helping her get started by letting her say she's his agent. Bauer is controlling everything she says and does. -
Trubisky has a far better chance of being above avg next year than a 2nd rounder does so why not build the best team around him as possible. Draft O-line in the 1st and 2nd. If they want a QB to develop take one in the 4th or 5th.
-
I get it. Philly is a 4 win team. They're in a spot to be able to find that out. Do you think a 2nd rounder starts for the Bears next season?

That is when the owners want to start the season. -
Is Jalen Hurts good?

Blake Snell and Yu Darvish traded to San Diego
Harold's Leg Lift replied to Sleepy Harold's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Judging from the Darvish return he doesn't have a lot of leverage to lose. -
Every pitcher is an injury waiting to happen.

Blake Snell and Yu Darvish traded to San Diego

The Padres had to trade some of their depth because between losing an affiliate and talk about MLB limiting teams to one complex team these guys would have no where to play. Better to get value from them now. -
Old: Mega Hendriks Speculation Thread

That is the case with the middle reliever market so why target older guys who are coming off an injury (Yates, Herrera) or are clearly on the decline (Cishek)? They have to target the guy who they think is ready to go on a 2-3 year run of above average pitching and not the guy coming off that run (Hendriks?). To me that guy is Archie Bradley. He's young, big ,strong, he has stuff, pedigree and closing experience. He has a very good chance to be a difference maker.
