  1. Those player have tools and high ceilings. I can draft and develop a league avgerage 2nd baseman with one of my other 39 picks.
  2. I would say that's a lack of understanding how the baseball draft works.
  3. Good lord Jason he's not in college anymore. This is the big leagues. College number don't F'ing matter.
  4. I get that. It's a White Sox message board and any criticsim of a White Sox player will not be received well. I've actually been holding back on a lot of my thoughts.
  5. I think it's safe to say a lot of those guys missed on the evaluation. Projecting power for a college hitter who never showed it and doesn't have the physical profile is very risky to say the least. They fell in love with the player and thought his college game would translate to the big leagues.
  6. Altuve needs to bring Madrigal on one of his Tijuana trips.
  7. Merrifield is 6'1". Madrigal is 5'5". The power will never come. Never
  8. Love it! I want tools, athleticism and ceiling at the top. You can't develop that. Agreed on Crochet. Super excited for that dude.
  9. I preferred Abrams (and Bleday and Greene) but I don't hate Vaughn. Just not the direction I would have gone.
  10. I LOVE Crochet. High ceiling left handers is what the top of the draft is all about. Not a fan of Kelley's profile but I like him better in the 2nd round than if they used a 1st on him.
  11. I don't understand it and I never will. Ireally liked Liberatore but I wanted Singer or Kelenic. So many dudes.....
  12. They scouted the hell out of him but decided to go the safe route. It's going to haunt them for years.
  13. You're telling someone not to panic while at the same time saying the season is likely to end.
  14. Nico Hoerner is a really good player.
  15. Ozzie would have gone ballistic on someone calling him out like this. Still a childish pile of crap after all these years.
