You parctice to teach your body your swing. When you get in the box you have to trust your athleticism and focus on the pitcher. If you're thinking where your hands or feet are against a big league pitcher you're fucked.
He came up as a catcher. He doesn't have the hands or feet to catch at the big league level but he certainly has them to play 1B and the reason he doesn't play there for the Cubs is Anthony Rizzo. I'd offer Lopez and Bummer.
Obviously trading for Mookie isn't the only move the Sox have to make but it would the bold move this rebuild needs to add an elite player to get the team to the level of winning the division.
The original plan was to trade for Machado the year before he hit free agency and confince him to sign an extension. They made a legit offer but Baltimore (Angelos) turned it down so it's certainly not out of the relm of possibility that they would try again with Betts.
We're gonna disagree on that one. I would think if the Red Sox trade Betts they'd be looking for players with higher ceilings. But yeah if they'd take him I'm all in.
I really like Yolmer as a bench guy. I think he'll be non-tendered but unlike Avi he will accept the lower offer to come back. The obvious problem is Ricky will find a way to play him everyday.
