I still can't figure out how a guy who led the league in passed balls three times and was benched in the playoffs twice for his horrific catching is (analytically) considered a great catcher.

I think Hamels will be their top target and they're gonna sign a cheap veteran and hope to squeeze 100 innigs out of him. Volquez, Felix or Gio fit the profile. I hope they avoid Alex Wood like the plague.

I think he ends up on the Rangers. They're moving into a new stadium, they have money to spend, they have a huge need at 3B, and he's from Texas. The stars are aligned.
