  1. Eh. Just look at the stat line. It tells you everything you need to know.
  2. These trade rumors sound like the clickbait Jed Hoyer was referring to.
  3. New White Sox AZL home run record.
  4. This is as close as this dumbass organization gets to firing someone. They'll move his desk next to Milton in the storage room and as soon as everyone forgets about him he'll be shown the door. His reign of terror is finally over.
  5. If nothing else Madrigal will have someone to keep him company at the amusement park when the rest of the team goes on a roller coaster.
  6. The Sox passed on Jarred Kelenic and the Mets traded him. I'd call it a push.
  7. If they trade for a RF'er get a freakin dude. Trade for Conforto then sign him to an extension.
  8. You want another rebuilding teams 4th best outfielder going into a season where the Sox are supposed to be competitive. Hard pass
  9. Why would a rebuilding(ish) Rangers team be willing to trade a 24 yr old uber taleneted outfielder?
  10. They had two assistant scouting directors this year. Well that's weird. I wonder why they needed two guys to do one job. Hmmmmm
  11. That may be true if you're the Yankees or Dodgers and always picking in the back of the draft but if you have a top pick you have to try to hit a home run every single time.
  12. Glad I don't have a subscription. I have a feeling it would make me throw up.
  13. They promoted him to get him the hell out of the scouting department. They're too chicken shit to get him out of the building because they're more worried about public perception than they are about getting it right. It's a joke.
  14. He's 3-4 with 3 2B's. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if he plays pretty good for the Rockies. He was in a no win situation here after the FO failed to sign Machado.
  15. Gladney's 7th home run ties the White Sox AZL record. Kid's a dinger monster.
  16. The reason Nick Anderson took such a long time to make it to the big leagues is because he ran into some legal trouble. While playing in Indy ball he had to wear an ankle braclet. He was under ballpark arrest.
  17. The UA Game was very disappointing but these events usually are as the pitchers have such an unfair advantage. There were a few position players who were able to stand out despite the rash of strike outs (34 by my count). OF Zac Veen is long and loose with a smooth LH stroke and plus power potential. SS Warner Blakely oozes athleticism from his projectable 6'3" 185 frame. He has a chance for above avg raw. C Drew Romo is a switch hitter with excellent bat to ball skills and very good actions behind the plate. The power may not get to avg but the bat will still play. We already knew about PCA (0-2 2 punchies and a BB) and Dylan Crews (0-4 4 punchies) who both looked awful. A couple pitchers really stood out. LHP Nate Savino was 92-94 with a plus 75-76 curveball and excellent feel to pitch. RHP Victor Medieros was 92-94 SL 82-83 cb 78-80 ch 85. He threw all 4 pitches for strikes which was good to see because he was terrible at this event last year. Jared Jones 94-96 and Jared Kelly 94-97 were electric but we already knew that.
