  1. Eloy will be a fine LF as soon as he stops trying to be a hero and understands runnnig into other players and karate kicking the wall are really bad ideas.
  2. What. The. Fuck. This is some of the worst baseball they've played in years which is pretty god damn hard to believe.
  3. Yep. Said he's the best HS player he ever saw. Said he could have been a big league SS if they would have given him a chance.
  4. You can't compare those rebuilds. The Cubs and Astros were way more at aggressive/motivated at aquiring talent. The Cubs spent what $300M on pitching. Reinsdorf would spontaneously combust if he spent that much on anything let alone pitching. Also this is like year 7 of the rebuild. They only started trying to lose 3 years ago.
  5. This is year 1,000 of this damn rebuild and there are 3 players (yes Tim is hurt) that are guaranteed to be part of the team if/when they're good. That's a freakin joke.
  6. Jon Jay is a 10 yr veteran. I don't think a team is going to get fooled by a 14 game sample size into thinking that he's actually good.
  7. I went to Baseball Reference to post the triple slash lines of the clown college they've run out in right field this year but it made me throw up in my mouth. Take a look at your own risk.
  8. Ridiculous he was able to tag on that pop up. How is it so bad hard to find a league average right fielder. Oh yeah they let one go to TB for nothing.
  9. Worst White sox hail mary: Cody Ashe, Jerry Sands or AJ Reed?
  10. The Royals took Dozier with their first pick so they could float Sean Manea down to their comp round pick who was considered 1-1 until a late season injury.
  11. Who has a better career: Nicky Lopez or Nicky Madrigal?
  12. Gotta have that RHH/LHH 1B/DH duo. An uncreative White Sox staple since 1990.
  13. The Rays and Rangers just pulled off a minor leaguer for minor leaguer trade. God forbid maybe the Sox can do some in house scouting and actually do something creative like this. I understand that's asking way too much from this FO but hey a guy can dream. BTW- that was a fantastic trade for the Rangers.
  14. They can always fill the team with all the employees sons, daughters, nieces and nephews they draft.
  15. Trade Colome and Bummer. Relievers are way to volatile and unless you have one of maybe a handful of guys (neither one qualifies) they can not be counted on in the near future let alone the long term. If the Sox can get a starter or everyday player absolutely do it. Rebuilding a bullpen is a yearly activity.
  16. I do. Once a player makes it to the big leagues the propect label goes away. That's the whole point of the exercise. To make it to the big leagues. If they play 1 game or 1000 games they will always be a big leaguer.
  17. Dalquist has the highest ceiling of any pitcher in their minor league system. When he gets his man muscles and his stuff catches up to his pitchability he's going to be a top of the rotation guy. He has a chance to be a freakin dude.
