We already know they screwed up. If anything this is proof Getz wanted to do it sooner but was overruled. No. He has the best stuff in the entire organization and deserves a chance to maximize his talent.

Agreed. I'm not a huge Jones guy but he undoubtedly has a tremendously high ceiling and there has to be at least one of that type of player in this deal. He could be a Matt Olson type or he could be a Joey Gallo type but they have to take that chance because the system is in desperate need for high impact players.

If it's Jett and Vasil I think they would need a different 3rd piece. As hard as it is for us to understand I was told they were not in love with Houck last year. ?‍♀️

This is very interesting. I'm not a Prada guy so I would replace him with Clifford or Gilbert but this isn't bad.

Haber ruined more drafts (and other departments) it's unbelievable they didn't shitcan him before now. Things are going to look very different going forward. What I'm wondering is if they're gonna be open to trading some of these minor leaguers so they can at least get some value out of them.
