Trying to get in with 82-85 wins as a Wild Card is flaky as hell. That is my point. After this many years of losing and rebuilding, we should be expecting 90+ wins and a shot at the division once Hahn’s plan is fully realized.
Cole to the Sox probably makes more sense than any other potential move I can imagine. They have the money and desperately need to improve their rotation. But many of us don’t expect it to happen. It’s disappointing but it is what it is.
According to Hahn, the rebuild was about “sustained success.” Winning the division year after year is what I would call “sustained success.” The Wild Card is a crapshoot.
Yes, and Moncada could easily get there while it may be a bit of a stretch for Anderson on the HR side. However, Ricky would rather bunt them both to second base. ?
Castillo and his PEDs managed to milk $15 million guaranteed out of Hahn. Between his suspension last year, injuries this year, and overall suckiness without his PEDs, he pretty much robbed Hahn blind.
Yet another awful signing by our GM.
This is ridiculous.
Also, I hope they do fire Maddon and the Sox pick him up, not that I would expect Reinsdorf to. He’s not my favorite manager but he’s light years better than Ricky.
Would be amazing if Anderson keeps these numbers up until the end of the season. His injury sucked. Would be interesting to see him get to a 30/30 season next year if he stays healthy.
I was about to post this. Amazing how greedy these idiots are. To already earn millions legally and then risk jail time to make more money. Ridiculously stupid.
