  1. I am going to guess it wasn’t from his ability to cut down on his stroke with 2 strikes and make contact.
  2. We are starting to see why the Astros let Reed go. Massive hole in his swing.
  3. Slider away, slider away, slider away, and Sox hitters keep chasing it. Steverson needs to be replaced.
  4. McCann in a slump. This is why you don’t extend a guy in the middle of his best offensive stretch ever.
  5. I can’t wait until Bruce Levine is right and the Cubs trade Schwarber and a crappy pitching prospect for Merrifield so we don’t have to face him anymore. ?
  6. Reed looks just like Collins, taking strike three’s looking.
  7. He is trying to be the next whitesoxdave. Maybe he wants to work for Barstool?
  8. I don’t see Yolmer as a sweetener in any trade due to his salary and performance. He is earning $4.625 million for this year and will get a bump via arbitration in the offseason. If we don’t want him, why would some other team?
  9. Unless the Sox extend Robert, I see no reason to call him up until after the deadline next April. Get the extra year of control.
  10. One could try to argue that the Reed pickup is the reason for this move but Collins wasn’t playing much at all even before Reed was claimed.
  11. Yes, Madrigal was also considered the best hitter in the draft when the Sox took him. I don’t know how much credit I give the Sox on picking two guys that were pretty much best player available when they drafted. Just like I don’t give the Cubs any credit for drafting Bryant. I just think the Astros whiffed.
  12. Castillo won’t be here next year. Collins will. And you aren’t getting anything for Castillo in a trade. This move makes no sense but then again, nothing the Sox have done with Collins makes much sense. They called him up to sit on the bench.
  13. The mock drafts were pretty much dead on this year. They had Vaughn going #3 and called him the best hitter in the draft.
  14. Let’s be honest — both guys were no brainer picks where the Sox drafted.
  15. He probably lowers the value of your trade offer because no one wants to waste a roster spot on him. ?
