  1. Yeah, like he now only loves her as his queen but also as his family (auntie). Once you dive in and go spelunking Jon, there’s no going back!
  2. I agree with some of the points made here. Six episodes was far too short to get through this story so now it is all rushed, after how slow moving the story was going initially. How long was the dead army traveling? Since which season/episode? ? Episode 3 of this season was a bust to me but this episode 5 redeemed the show. I definitely am looking forward to some sort of twist ending next week.
  3. And her nephew doesn’t want to bang her anymore. ? Many losses and perceived betrayals.
  4. Yep, and wasn’t it even hinted in either the books or show that generations of incest causes mental problems / psychosis?
  5. Sorry, my bad. Enough talking about a series of crappy movies. ?
  6. You just stated why they were so bad. Terrible casting and acting from Hayden Christensen and don’t forget Natalie Portman as well. Not to mention that awful kid.
  7. I will say this, the biggest plot hole in last night’s episode was Tyrion letting Jamie escape. So they were holding Jamie prisoner and the Unsullied were guarding him but no one noticed him missing the next morning and they also forgot that Tyrion, his brother, was the last person to visit him? Just awful. What the hell was that about? Terrible plot hole so the story would work. I realize that they needed Tyrion to say his goodbye to his brother but they should have had this happen in the previous episode after Jamie said his goodbye to Brienne of Tarth. Then, just don’t have Jamie get captured when he sneaks off to King’s Landing. That was some bad writing for sure.
  8. I hope she takes over and they hint at a heel turn for her as well, just like Cersei and Danys, right at the end. Remember how she talked about how all the pain she suffered had molded her into the person she is today?
  9. They were terrible because they were marketed towards kids, not the adults who had watched the originals. They were trying to lock in a whole new generation of fans instead of catering to the life-long fans.
  10. Jon doesn’t want to be king. Power corrupts. Jon is good so he won’t let it corrupt him. There’s a reason Varys has been looking for the perfect ruler forever and it hasn’t happened. But I did crap all over episode 3 already. They hyped up the battle with the dead for so long and it was over in a flash. Really stupid and bad episode IMO.
  11. No, I won’t. The Star Wars prequels blow. But I’m a bit confused. Are you suggesting that the best ending would be Dany becoming the best just ruler of the iron throne? Happy ending. The end?
  12. Eh, he’s one of our best tradable resources. I hope the Sox try to work a deal with the Cubs again for Ian Happ. He would look pretty good in RF.
  13. Viserys was a little wussy twit and wouldn’t be as believable as Dany as a mad ruler. The age old moral of the story here is that power corrupts.
  14. So you expected the ruler who has the mad king in her genes and who’ve you’ve seen execute people like Tarly’s family just be the happy and great ruler in the end? They have been hinting at this turn all throughout the series. Where have you been? It’s an overall message about how power corrupts and she basically became Cersei all over again. Meanwhile, the best ruler would be the guy who doesn’t want the throne and won’t get corrupted by it as a result.
  15. Not a fan of that ending for Jamie. He just went back to his evil sister.
  16. The mad queen was in her blood. It was destiny. She couldn’t avoid it. And even though Jon is a Targaryen, he isn’t all about incest. He doesn’t want to bang his aunt anymore, lol.
  17. The Hound overcoming his fear of fire to kill his brother was great. So does another tyrannical ruler sit in the iron throne or does Jon end her reign of terror?
  18. Best episode of all time. They finally figured out proper dragon strategy — dive bomb. This episode further made episode 3 look like trash.
  19. Sure, but they refuse to spend with the big boys so millions of their payroll can't just be thrown away.
  20. The Sox can’t afford to waste 14% of their payroll if they want to actually be good. $13 million could be a good starting pitcher or outfielder instead of two bad bench players.
  21. His career line is still pretty weak for a 1B/DH. .262 .334 .407 .741
  22. Relatively speaking, he’s a massive waste of $9 million for what he produces.
  23. The Sox payroll is around $92 million for this year. $13 million is 14% of the total payroll. When you have a low payroll to begin with, you can’t afford to burn 14% of your payroll on bums.
