  1. My favorite: “I’ve got a seat at the purchasing table... which I think is probably good enough, probably won't get the ok from the boss to purchase though.”
  2. Yeah, the only benefit to adding Price would’ve been also adding a nice young lefty bat with good OBP.
  3. The Red Sox won’t get an equivalent offer to that rumor from any other team. The price will either come down or Price will be pitching for the Red Sox next season.
  4. Fuggem. It should be Collins and prospects not named Madrigal and Vaughn if they want to get out of luxury tax hell.
  5. True, but would you be shocked if it’s actually true as well?
  6. I think you are 100% correct. But it’s starting to be that I am losing hope that they will acquire any decent starting pitching. Even signing Keuchel, whom most posters wanted no part of, is beginning to look like a challenge.
  7. Haha, I know you already know this but he’s not legit and it’s a waste of bandwidth posting this guy’s BS.
  8. You constantly argue that no one should be this upset about crappy ownership and front office and whiffing on free agents but you have no problem blaming posters? Who is the clown again?
  9. If another poster ruins your enjoyment of your hobby, that’s a you problem.
  10. They get an A+ for improving at catcher but it’s probably a D for right field.
  11. It was a joke. Tatis Jr. was nicknamed “He Who Shall Not Be Named” around here.
  12. You can play this game and find something wrong with every player. Last offseason, people were finding faults with both Machado and Harper. So just don’t acquire anyone?
  13. I agree and still have hope for Lopez figuring it out but not everyone pans out regardless of their stuff.
  14. The longer you wait, the closer the kids get to free agency, and the closer the competitive window is to closing.
  15. What does Fernando Tatis Jr. have to do with the White Sox budget? ?
  16. No need to bring Trump into this. Although, the economy is booming as a result of him so you would think the Sox would in turn spend some money this offseason. ?
  17. It’s $9.125 million for the entire 3 years. The Sox wasted a lot more money than that last offseason on Alonso, Jay, and Santana.
  18. You also have to factor in that Lopez might pitch himself into the bullpen if he continues his 2019 season.
  19. #1 is the key. The expectation of a rebuild is that you maintain a low payroll and essentially tank for high draft picks but when you are near your window of competition, you finally spend big to fill in your holes.
