One of the managers important roles is to publicly back your players 100% of the time. In hockey, a player can lay out an obvious dirty hit, but his manager will BS and say he didnt see a good angle of it or that it was a bang bang play or w/e.
TLR has obviously failed miserably at this.
Lost in all of this is Yermin getting tee'd off when he pitched in the blowout game in Boston and no one saying a god damn thing about it when it happened.
No one thought maybe Yermin was a little ticked at getting shit from Minny players and Eaton was just telling him to chill out and continue being you. It's impossible to know what they said anyways
