  1. Let's just hope that Kopech isn't on the Zach Burdi TJ recovery plan.
  2. This is the nastiest I've ever seen Lopez pitch. Muy bueno!
  3. inflammation in the shoulder is no bueno. Just ask Carlos Rodon. Just speculation. Something didn't look right with him all year.
  4. Again, I never called him a bust or declared what he "really is". Eloy has been terrible so far this year and the numbers don't lie. In what world is a -0.7 war and 81wRC+ plus good?
  5. Not good. I doubt we see Burr anytime soon. He is most likely headed for the surgeons table.
  6. Jones should have been traded years ago when the rebuild began and he had any semblance of value. Often injured veterans have no place on a tanking team.
  7. The FO could care less what the fans think. The great thing about rebuilding is that you can always use the "development isn't linear" card and push out the contention window out a year or two. 2020 will be another tank year unless the Sox go crazy in FA and trades. Hopefully it is the last tank year though.
  8. Yep. I'm not sure that anyone is calling him a bust at this point. It's fair to criticize the Sox giving this dude a big extension when he never faced a pitch in the Show before. He is looking more and more like a DH with each passing day.
  9. Timmay! Yolmer out there pouring Gatorade on everyone except Anderson lol.
  10. They should have traded Fulmer for Joc Pederson when they had the chance lol.
  11. He sure is. I understand why he took the Sox money and didn't bet bigger on himself. I fear for a season ending injury every time the ball is hit to left field. Let's hope he can hit like Edgar Martinez..
  12. Eloy also has a 658 OPS. He has been terrible all around so far.
  13. Terrible logic. Houston lost 100 games for three straight years during their rebuild. The Sox are tanking and we need to embrace it cause it aint ending any time soon. 100 losses this year and 95 plus losses next year are pretty much locks at this point. The Sox need to keep stockpiling top 5 draft picks and let the kids develop.
  14. We should have. Becoming more and more clear with each passing game. -0.7 War lol.
  15. Orioles seem to be on a similiar level as the Sox. They will probably lose more games than the Sox though cause the AL East is so tough. Sox are looking like a lock for another top 5 pick though.
  16. Giving this dude 40 million plus without ever playing a game in the show was a shortsighted move. Dude makes Kyle Schwarber look like a gold glover. His bat is gonna have to be off the charts good for him to have any real value.
  17. 105 plus losses is looking like a real possibilty this year. Will that be enough for the #1 pick in 2020?
  18. Rodon is not a TOR starter and will never be one. He is a #3 at best. Dylan Cease and Kopech need to be light years better than Rodon. A lot is riding on those two arms.
  19. Competing in 2020 seems like a pipedream at this point unless the Sox go crazy and spend a bunch in FA. 2020 is likely another tanking year. Cease won't be up till late July/Early August.
  20. You are preaching to the choir man. The scary thing is that Hahn is going to be shopping in the mid tier FA section over the next couple offseasons.
  21. You didn't say he was gonna just underwhelm. You said he was going to turn into an albatross like it was 100 percent certain to happen. Again, let's hear your World Series prediction if you got everything all figured out.
  22. JR is the one who isn't allowing the big spending.
  23. We got a soothsayer over here. Send me the World Series matchup now so I can win some big $ please.
  24. I'm not convinced Madrigal is gonna make it. Put Rendon at third and Moncada back at second. Cole doesn't need a pitching coach.
  25. The Sox will probably just DFA him once they deem Collins and Zavala ready.
