In agreement totally with your assessment of Colome. Just wanted to remind you that not all trades are for future players. You can trade for an organization #1 pitching prospect or #1 outfield prospect who may be blocked at the present time. Also, of course current major leaguers. Chapman for Torres set an example of what might happen. I'm not suggesting Colome is another Chapman...just that quality high end closers don't come cheap.

Anyone can be flipped if the price is right. None of these first four guys should be dumped for salary or token prospects. I believe Herrera was hurt for awhile and the others will just be replaced with same or lesser guys. Bummer is off limits short of something unbelievable developing. Hahn is good at getting overpaid when he has something to sell so I'll trust him on this.

Dodgers have a lot of depth in the outfield. I wonder if Alex Verdugo could be had.
