Part of this is the probability that some minority owners are ready to get out for their own estate planning. These are all rich people by ordinary standards.

When I was about 10 years old... I learned that our Spring Training record meant absolutely nothing. Enjoy the games for what they are...a harbinger of Spring.

I agree. My preference is an extension... but send him back for a few weeks if necessary. The extension is in everyone's interest.

Eloy...Anderson...Anderson Madrigal would challenge Anderson for hits but Anderson batting 1st vs 9th is a big benefit to TA.

The pen looks about as lockdown as any pen in baseball IMO.

Would any of us like to be criticized daily on a message board for our job performance? RH has done a good job putting together what looks to be the best spring training roster in my lifetime. None of us know what budgets or stipulations have been put on him by JR or KW. He has way more data and info from informed baseball people than any forum poster. Yeah...I get why he gets annoyed from daily criticism from the peanut gallery.

None of us even know that number. It's just easier to hate on the FO. This team may well win the WS and we have the salary room to extend contracts going forward. Works for me.
