Not when we were ded last in walks last season. All of our hitters are 4-6 times k to walks. I think that will change next season but Marte wont help that.

30 2B's per season, 20 HR's per season which may decline this year. 100 k's to 25 walks per season. 12 mil. 31 years old. I give him the defense. Still doesnt produce enough at the plate for me.
(he puts up the same production every season including the minors, so dont expect him to get better)
Note: White Sox dead last last year in walks, 30th in league with 378 BB. Houston led the league with 645.

Marte gets paid 12 million to walk 25 times per season... There must be better options....

Although he has a decent eye, Tsutsugo is 28 and declining and yet to hit against MLB pitching. 👎

Narvaez is a good hitting catcher,one of the tops in the league. I said he was good when he played for the Sox but they didn't give him enough playing time. Did we get anything for him?

Good points. They got sloppy when they were up, so yes, they couldn't put them away, hope they work on that. Me too, I hope they can make a back end playoff spot.

Zach Lavine won this game for them. After leading by 22, Memphis cuts lead to 1 with 4 minutes left in game and Zach silences them with 2 straight threes! Go Bulls!

If Levine and Markannan can step up and be leaders, this team may make the playoffs. We dearly need some players to step up and be leaders.

Remember last season everyone was so upset we didnt spend 300 mil on a .256 hitter..... Wheeler is good, but his ERA was at 3.96 last season, there may be better options.

Dallas Keuchel had a lower ERA than Zack. Keuchel's was .21 lower than Zack.

I'd take Dallas Keuchel for 11 and Gio Gonzalez for 8..... Follow that in the rotation of Giolito and Cease....Lopez could be the #5 but I would trade him but first we would need another #5.

Castellanos also had 58 doubles. Im just so so with Castellanos, better than Marte though.
