The Sox are 8-20 when they score < 5 runs ?? If that's true, what need do have of further witness ? -

1967. Win 3 of the last 5 , they're in the World Series. They lost all 5. Now THAT's brutal !!! -

Cooper friggin needs to go. Time after time after time, these pitchers immediately give back the runs the offense presents them -

Can the son take over the Sox too? Perhaps the son doesn't want to be bothered. They're going to get rid of the Sox sooner or later. What paper wealth they do have clearly comes from the basketball side - especially after Balmer grossly overpaid for the Clippers. The Reinsdorfs will never get rid of their cash cow Bulls or the Sistine Chapel of the NBA. 9.2 million to 3.2 billion ? And inherited Michael Jordan too boot ? You'll never see that again in sports. Man, did they luck out. Promised post-Jordan era championships. 20 years later Bulls fans are still waiting despite being the most supportive fans in the NBA. Up until last year they were consistently in the top 3 in attendance. Yet, they get rewarded with teams consistently in the bottom third in payroll. That whining about having only 50 cents garbage wouldn't play well on the West Side. -

If this is the beginning of the end of Renteria-Cooper, in the long run it will be worth it. -

RR is a games-eater. He has no experience managing a team in contention. But the owner doesn't hire such folks because they want to hire their own staffs and getting rid of Cooper is out of the question -

Cease did not figure in their short term plans. Q is a decent pitcher and could have helped the Cubs. Eloy is a DH on a team full of them. If the Sox don't get him out of LF soon he won't be anything. Take your frustrations out on ownership, not me. Cease,is expendable just like he was to the Cubs. -

I wouldn't have thought Cease would be expendable but he is. We're just seeing what Theo already knew. -

When you have an exclusive homer based offense, starters with control problems and terrible in-game field management, those issues tend to manifest at crunch time. -
The Twins last 5 games are home games: 2 with the Tigers and 3 with the Reds - all winnable.
-
They are wasting the next Pete Rose batting Nick 9th. He needs to stay higher in the line-up.
-
RR's defensive shifts have highly contributed to these 5 runs scored by Reds. If you're not sick of this guy's lack of managerial skills, you will be after he gets fully exposed in the playoffs.

Go Cubs Go

I wish Mike, Vanessa and their child on the way well. I hope for the sake of the child they can at least be there for him.
-
Magic Number is 6 to at least tie for the division and have that key home field in the first round since they have tie-breaker
-
RR's use of Colome like he's Mariano Rivera is Parkey-like.
-
He's right
-
Not tonight boys. Minnesota is not going away. These games are where a true ace earns his stripes. Sale came up short in the few key games he had here. The last real ace the Sox have had was Lamar Hoyt. That guy was money in big games.
-
If they're not bludgeoning the opponent, the ball finds the Sox weakest links. On this team it's Renteria-Cooper. It will really manifest itself in the playoffs.
-
What is RR's fascination with this guy ? He's awful
-
What is RR's fancina

PICK HIM UP !!!
-
Lucas gets a mulligan from me. The offense needs to pick him up.
