  1. Renteria-Cooper do their best work in games like this....
  2. The Sox are as good as their ability to overcome their weakest links; (1) The in-game strategy of Renteria-Cooper (2) That bullpen
  3. And evidently we didn't need another front line pitcher, either.
  4. Renteria's managing is the epitome of insanity. The playoffs will find your weakest links.
  5. EE breaking KC's backs like he broke ours regularly. This is a professional hitter. He's just warming up.
  6. I don't think that had anything to do as to why Kopech opted out.
  7. If anything the White Sox are out-growing this particular ownership group who are either financially incapable or just flat out unwilling to take the organization to the next level. Augmenting this team with vetted, in-their-prime free agent difference makers is that next logical step. The White Sox can become a dominant global brand with the right ownership and marketing strategy. The next ownership should also look to relocating to the South Loop to make the Sox not only more accessible by public transportation but also grab a piece of that tourism dollar.
  8. I have been Rey Lopez's biggest defender but short of getting rid of the out-of-touch pitching coach (which will never happen because he plays multiple roles for the owner), the great experiment has got to come to an end. And I loathed Josh Donaldson.
  9. Colome scares the hell out of me in a playoff setting. Bobby Jenks he ain't. But they got a couple of guys in that pen who could be.
  10. Two more innings in his career. Like Carson Fulmer, they peaked in college and the Sox failed to do their homework on their overuse by win at all costs coaches. I can still hear the sound of champaign corks popping on Clark and Addison when Rodon was selected ahead of Schwarber. I'm gonna damn them faint praise by acknowledging the Sox brain-trust probably didn't who the hell Schwarber was. It is interesting a lot of changes in that scouting department began after that draft.
  11. Still won't beat out LA though. Hopefully FTJR tires out of it and comes back home to play with lil Bro when he hits FA ...LOL
  12. Clevinger was a pipe dream unless there was a Gar-Pax equivalent running Cleveland's FO.
  13. So yet another MLB-NBA org uses a Reinsdorf-run org for leverage. What a surprise. No way in hell would Cleveland be that stupid to trade a pitcher of that caliber to the Sox.
  14. Trades have to make sense for both teams. It's not about fleecing the other team. If the Sox want quality, they're gonna have to give some talent up.
  15. Thank you. Do not trade Dunning. Kopech has a lot of issues to work through. Dombrowski and the Red Sox org concluded this guy was not worth the trouble so they peddled him off on Kenny-Hahn. Oh to have Clevinger start one of those games in Minny.
  16. Kopech has izzues up the yang-yang. I do that trade in a heart-beat. Clevinger Kopech has izzues up the yang-yang. Dombrowski knew it too. If surrendering Kopech gets it done, I would do that trade in a heartbeat. Clevinger would become at least #2 pitcher
  17. DD just threw RR under the golf cart proclaiming he could have gone longer ... I love it !!!!
  18. Foster saved RR's ass. His line-ups, his bullpen management is just awful. Theo knew this guy is a games-eater for a team in transition.
