  1. 3 more winnable games pissed away. Sale knocking out Moncada was a huge play.
  2. If that isn't excuse it will be Hahn's job to spin. His real talent is being wasted as a GM of a major sports team.
  3. JD Martinez would make me forget Abreu in a NY second
  4. If he hit AND fielded iike Roberto Clemente he'd be still with the Cubs.
  5. I truly believe guys like Lopez and Fulmer would benefit from a different perspective from Cooper. It doesn't have anything to do with age.. I heard the great John Wooden in his early 90's say he would be a better coach then than earlier in his career. That's a frightening thought. And I believe him ! But of course Don Cooper is no John Wooden.. LOL
  6. LOL Oh please don't give Hahn ideas. Tatis Jr by the way looks like a stud He's my favorite non Sox player. I wish him all the best.
  7. I'll never give it a rest, Jerry. It's why the Sox have only been to the post season 5 times in almost 40 years and the Bulls haven't as much as sniffed a Finals apperance in almost 20 years since the INHERITED Michael Jordan left. You apologists bore me to friggin tears. Chicago is only major market that puts up with this B.S.
  8. Machado was never coming here. All these elite MLB and NBA free agents know the story of Reinsdorf's whining about paying Jordan. That is forever woven into the fabric of sports history. All these guys do is leverage the Bulls and Sox for better deals elsewhere. That's been the case for decades now and the fanbase will continue to pay the price as long as Reinsdorf is associated with their respective teams.
  9. That was a series that could have been swept by the Sox with anything remotely resembling major league starting pitching. Too bad.
  10. We need talented major league ballplayers playing major league baseball. That would help.
  11. It's laughable they thought signing him was a path to securing Machado.
  12. In the Reinsdorf-Kenny-Hahn era ? Oh absolutely there have been equally as worse.
  13. Allright..Okay...You Win Perhaps you're old enough to remember that too...LOL
  14. Whatever You're probably not old enough to remember the Sox bullpen being anchored by 20 year old future hall of famer Goose Gossage and 19 year old Terry Forester in 1971. They were the best righty-lefty bullpen duo in my lifetime as a Sox fan. No whining about service contracts or not being ready back then. It's all B S. to keep these owners from paying these guys a dollar more before they have to. Despaigne is a major league pitcher but Cease isn't ? LOL....Please. To call Despaigne an innings-eater is an insult to inner-eaters everywhere.
  15. I'm sick of this service B.S. If you can't afford to run a major market franchise, you have no business owning a team. And how do you know Cease won't be a stud when gets up here. We keep these pitchers on the farm for several years then bring them up just in time for them to undergo TJS. I guess Tatis Jr. would still be in Single A if he was still with the Sox. Good for him that he was traded.
  16. Good gravy, Hahn. Reinsdorf won't let u do any better than this ? This pitcher is terrible.
  17. Friggin Cubs got a game saving break by the ump
