You do realize we dominated the Tar Heels just one year ago with the same exact rosters as they are this year right? Although that game was in Champaign, it was a drubbing just like we did to Wake Forest last week. I would say it would be one hell of a game on a neutral court though, perhaps in St. Louis.

Any Illini fans on here worried about tomorrow's Arkansas game? The last time we played them was at the UC, they were undefeated at that point as well, and I believe we won by 20 + or so. Anyway, I got to think that it will be a 6-8 point lead at the half and then a comfortable 15 point win perhaps? But the crowd will be damn motivated to be playing a top 3 team, so that also could be a huge factor for our first true road game. Go Illini!

The way Delaware St was playing the 1st half, it was a good test on how we could break the zone that was bothering us early. Although, it won't be that easy against the Big 10 type zone's we will be surely seeing. I wonder how much Pruitt will be involved this season. He only had 4 minutes tonight, but he may just need to keep learning the motion offense to succeed. Good start though.. Go Illini!

Nice Post... However, as much as I'd like to say Carlos is the most underrated player on the team, not in my book of course, Carlos did struggle big time in the clutch this year. As one of his biggest fans, I would like to see him come through more with RISP. I cant even count the times in May-July that he popped up to 3rd or shallow left using a very long swing. His numbers are great, just about the same as last year, but I think last year was the better year for Carlos, as he was a better base stealer and hustled a lot more on could be homers instead of just staring at them. In any case, come on Carlos, lets get RBI #100!
