Yeah, i saw that today, and im thinking, wow, thats some casual news. One second, the Yankees are scrambling to find a new right fielder, the next minute, Sheffield will be fine(in the words of Cashman). I guess anyone in fantasy leagues that got stuck with Sheffy, are feeling much better.

No, i know that. I know that they wouldnt give up a chance for a championship, Im just hoping it all works out that a 4th team can go. That would be awesome if Northwestern could somehow get 4 wins. They've got the kind of team that could do it, with great frustrating defense and a fairly good offense.

Hahha.... damn Northwestern fans! Stop making fun of my name, thats the goal for all teams in the tourney, get to the Alamo Dome. We were just there 4 years ago(against Kansas and Arizona), so i figure its time to get back there again.

How about this scenario, get to the championship game, lock up either a 2/3 seed, and since the result of the game doesnt matter, play a team like Purdue or Northwestern in the finals, and give them the game, so that way the B10 gets 4 teams! YAY! Or wait, then im not sure I'd be too happy going into the tourney with a loss to either of those 2. s***, oh well.

Lol, you sure are one testy Kansas fan. Yeah, even if Gonzaga lost, the worst they could have fell was probably 8th or 9th. Illinois will probably be around 13th i would think, but really, rankings dont mean crap anyway. Im more worried about playing the Hoosiers on Friday at 11. (Im almost positve we will have another classic big 10 tourney game with Indiana, im banking that the Hoosiers beat OSU). I could have got tickets to that session, but i got class from 9-11 on friday, so i guess I will be cheering and screaming at the ol television. Goooo Illini!

You must not be a golfer... there are plenty of ways to cheat. I mean, there are so many rules in the USGA Rule Book that you could bend any type of rule without your competitor paying attention. For example, your ball could move 1/8th of a millimeter while your addressing it, therefore it would be a one stroke penalty, but you'd be the only one to know about it if you wernt honest.

I agree, that game tonight was great. The little schools are much more entertaining without all the hype, although i wouldnt consider Gonzaga an unknown team anymore. Hell of a game, Im not sure if I wanted to see another team from that conference go, but since there are really no bubble teams in the big 10, I should have rooted for Santa Clara.

Dammit, Ill be pulling for the Spartans in the NCAA, you should damn well pull for Illinois in the tourney, dammit! Anyway, respect your fellow Big 10 teams, there wont be too many too cheer for, we need all the help we can get. I really hope that someone other than Mich St. or Wiscy wins the Big 10 tourney so we can get 4 in. Im thinking Iowa or Mich has the best chance to do it. Go illini!

Good 1st half, we got to figure out that zone as usual though, becaue we're not gonna consistantly nail 3's all day long as we fizzled out in the last 5 min. of the half. I really wish Auggy would get more looks down low. That left handed jump hook he has down there is unstoppable. One more half til the championship is all ours! GO ILLINI!

Wow, nobody is on here to post that Stanford just lost to Washington? I guess everyone predicted that this would happen. Anyway, Stanford, undefeated no more, goes down 75-62. Washington will be a scary team in the NCAA Tourney.

I just now read about this, that sucks, i really want to go to at least 1 of those games. My last one was the Friday day game 2 years ago when we came back from 8-0 to win. Probably the most exciting moment i've had attending a White Sox game. (Of course, on TV, the most exciting was Carlos smacking a Grand Slam the year before to win). Lol, i was reading Troy St's profile, who was in the tourney last year, and will have a chance again tomorrow if they win their tourney game, and was impressed that they only lost by 9 to LSU on the road, but then i look to see their other losses and one is to the Christian Brothers University? And then i see cbs's and ESPN's projections and it has Illinois as a 4 seed vs Troy State as a 13. Please tell me we can play this team in the first round, that is hilarious, they lost to the Christian Brothers. Where the hell is that school located.. Just bored at 4:30 a.m. here, ready for some college hoops dammit! GO ILLINI!

Big day of college hoops tomorrow. 4 Conference champions will be awarded bids to the national tourney, of course, its likely 2 of them will be in the play in game, but either way. Stanford plays a big game against UW, Wiscy playing the Hoosiers, NC State vs Wake, Cincy vs Memphis, and the big one, NC at Duke. And then of course, on Sunday, Illinois attempts to be the big 10 conference champions for the first time in 52 years. Should be fun.... GO ILLINI!
