Molting McLemore is always a decent pickup, he'd find a role for any team in the majors.

Ahh yes, good ol tri-semester here, so no new classes for me, but i've got lots of projects coming up since we are almost done with this semester (end of Feb). Senior Project next semester and some Laws class and Ill have my bachlors in Networking and Communications in June!!

Just curious here, but how the hell does anyone make a prediction on a list of guys that no one has seen play down in the minors and barely up here in the majors (like cotts, borchard, and rauch) This seems like a daunting task to me unless you've seen them all play first hand... Just a observation

Dammit, this was the big 10's last shot at getting another win against the big 12, and we couldnt even beat Iowa St. AHHH... Oh well, Illinois put on a wouping tonight against Penn St, Powell and Deron had solid games. And Randle with a sportscenter dunk made my night! Go illini!

Doesnt sound like a big deal to me, since he's still playing with the injury anyway. Im sure he'll be 100 percent when spring training comes around.

Although Guardado put up decent numbers last year, it seemed like he had Keith Foulkitis, where he would put 2 men on before he got the save just to see if the fans were still in to the game. I think Eddy would have been a better setup man to Kaz, that would have been a good 1-2 punch. Do they still have aging Arthur Rhodes cause he's not to bad.
-
Well, since we won the first 2 of the series, why not give Cotts a chance, you know?
-
I never like articles that have anything to do with Elcaballo's position being taken by a fellow LF! Even if it is Pujols, although i did see he might be playing 1B this year.

I actually hope that Rowand is our starting CF this year as much as i'd like to see Reed come up and play right away. Aaron has earned a chance as the starter for a while now, i think Harris should take Rowands spot on the bench and just stay a role player. I especially like to hear that Rowand is busting his ass off with earlier talks of Valentin playing CF, so maybe we'll stick to the gameplan and leave him at SS where he should be, and Uribe at 2nd. GO SOX 2004 + #45!

No doubt, how about 5 dollars to my PayPal account for attending?

Ok, i've counted 2 posts now on how Zoolander is bad, I'd like to know whats bad about it. There must have been over 100 lines in that movie that I busted up on, so unless you took every moment seriously as hell, how could you not think this was a great comedy.
-
Yeah, they could win the tourney and get in that way, but i would think a 10-6 conf record and 2 wins in the tourney may do it, because teams like Georgia in the past that was 19-13 have made it in with sched strength alone.

Hey, Jamal had a good season so far, i mean, who expected Jamal to score 40 + earlier this year. He's a point guard for god sakes, so its not like you should expect him to score 20+ every game anyway. But what i do expect from jamal is 100 percent effort everytime out, because he's been lazy every so often, and thats when you see his turnovers and bad shot selection go up.

Speaking of big hits, Eugene Wilson (out of Illinois baby!) put down 2 nasty hits in that Indy game, the last one may get a letter from the NFL...although i thought it was legal.
-
Well, with Illinois's bad RPI now after the 2 losses last week, is Wiscy the only quality win that Mich St could get, and they already lost to them in Madison 2-3 weeks ago... so how are they gonna get quality wins then?
-
I dont care what anyone says, Mich St will be in the tourney at the end, they've got too much talent not, and that non-conference schedule will have given them an edge when playing (im sorry to say) a down big 10 schedule. Illinois,Wisky, Purdue and Michigan being my other 4 in representing the big 10 go illini!

Hey Spiff, i dont know if your too familiar with the movie "Friday" but doesnt Josh Boone look like the ratty ass girl with braided hair that keeps begging for weed and then Devo ends up hitting her at the end.
-
Yeah, good point, I still think that May should get more looks down low. He has the softest hands in the game for a man his size, but about Okefor, i didnt realize how good of a post game he had to go with his defensive skills. Just great timing on everything and totally changes how you would design an offensive scheme against UConn with him in the middle.
-
I had to start a thread on this man, he's freaking awesome, after that sequence where he just blocked a would be lay up, leading to a 3 pointer by Gordon. He already has 26 points and he's a human rejection machine, much like Ken Johnson was for Ohio St. UCONN up 1 right now, 70-69.
-
Yeah, indeed, but one of them is North Carolina, and the other is UConn.. and uhh... ok fine, i know its the better game, but i hate the ACC with a passion so if Carolina pulls this off, it will only make them look better for beating the #1 team in the country. Okefor is going off this game, UCONN pulled within 1 because of some horrible ball handling by NC, and Okefer was taking advantage of some mismatches down low. Sean May needs to get more touches down low i think..
-
I bet Im one of the few people that would rather see mich st vs mich... lol Ill stick with the big 10 over 2 ranked non big 10 teams playing each other, but thats just cause im a big 10 nut...
-
Well, St Joes held on after Xavier took the lead with 3 to play. Pitt against UConn on monday is gonna be huge, cant wait for that game

What! Zoolander was hilarious.... That whole movie was great... Come on, here's a classic zoolander moment: I thought you were going to tell me what a bad eugoogalizer I am. A what? A eugoogalizer. One who speaks at funerals. Or did you think I'd be too stupid to know what a eugoogly was? OR the "Derek Zoolander Center for Kids Who Can't Read Good" was classic too. Will Ferrell was hilarious in that movie too... i cant see how you walked out of the theater...

"Why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam ... i swear to god im gonna kick this piece of s*** out the window!"

Well, Im hoping they can beat Iowa St this week, so the Big 10 can get one more victory against a Big 12 conference that i think is underachieving right now as well.... but illinois victory over mizzou is the only one i can think of that big 10 got over big 12, so maybe iowa will play like they did against minnesota last week and today against illinois. I think its possible for Iowa to be the Big 10's 5th team, if we do have 5 teams go... They probably need to go about 10-6 though, which would be the record that may win the big 10.
