Keep this s*** up Uribe! Get all these Uribe haters to keep their mouths shut about his offense. Avg is .250 and rising....
-
QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 30, 2005 -> 12:04 PM) I just can't believe how easy Uribe is making it to get an improvement over him. I cannot believe how stupid that was to swing at the first pitch from a guy that has pitched like 7 innings all year, and it looks like their pen is in some serious trouble. Tell us how you really feel? Personally, any offensive numbers Uribe gives us is just a bonus, because he's made some huge plays that most SS in the leaugue couldnt make with his strong arm. (Let's ignore the KC game when Buerhle pitched) But at the same time, there is no doubt that Omar is one of those SS that brings both to the table, being such a pesky hitter. But still, l love watching Uribe in the field, so I'm happy either way.

Did I just hear that Carlos Lee is hitting cleanup for the National League? Nice one Buck! -
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jul 11, 2005 -> 03:49 PM) Thank god this is only to start the 2nd half. I do like Garcia right after Contreras though and then Buehrle and Garland and then El Duque. It mixes up the rotation so the pposition doesnt see similar things in back to back days. Wait, doesnt this mean that Contreras and ElDuque will be back to back again?

How can you guys not be rooting for Carlos??? Although I just heard a Cub (D. Lee) predict him winning it, that cant be good.... :banghead Where's the smiley with a Panama flag! GO ELCABALLO!

About 250 times for Poddy and Webby.

Go Carlos!

Ozzie has always stuck to playing the matchups with this group, and tonight was no different. Why is everyone surprised by the fact he stuck to his gameplan? -
Rocket off of the baggy up at the Metrodome. Although I'm enjoying what Podsednik has done for us this year, I miss Carlos!! Way to go Caballo!

Lets go Shingo!

Absolutely great win. I honestly was predicting a loss in this game, and our backcourt was outstanding in this game. (What's new right?) Big Jack with that huge 3 to end the 1st half, what else can we ask for now. I must say, the next big test will be Wiscy at home, because that I believe will be the last test if Iowa does lose Pierce. Go Illini! -
QUOTE(3E8 @ Jan 15, 2005 -> 08:01 PM) www.sportsbook.com Oh yeah... forgot about this one... Brooke Burke is definitly enticing me to put money down for no particular reason.
-
QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jan 15, 2005 -> 06:47 PM) I don't recall that happening to the Steelers either... Considering they are about to win the game.

Im thinking of putting some money on this game, but I dont know any bookies (how do you spell that). Anyway, anyone know any good online betting sites. I would think the Pats would be favored by 3 or so in this game, and I would love to take Indy and those 3 points.

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jan 3, 2005 -> 02:14 AM) Billy must know that it isn't wise to deal a guy when his value is low. I think Zito will be dealt, but I'm guessing they see what the A's do first before dealing him. If they aren't in the race at the deadline (which I think is a good possibility) and if Zito is back to his old self, Beane's going to get a lot more for him then. Very good point, but the problem is, I dont know if he can get his form back. He lost 2-3 mph on his fastball over the last 2 years, and his 12-6 curve is not fooling as many batters as it did. He started to K a lot of batters, and I think he should develop a better sinker, and get more ground ball outs, and get that ERA back in the 3's.

Thanks for the info guys, I know we have a solid 5 right now, but possibly at the trade deadline in July, team's may try to strike a deal with Barry. Lol, if he got traded to the Brewers, it would be hard to not root for my 2 favorite players over the Sox.... Nah, I didnt just say that... Go Sox!

Anyone know? I really thought he was going to make some noise in the free agent hunt this winter, I really wanted to see #75 on the South Side. (2nd fav. player) behind someone that plays in Milwaukee?

It's amazing how many fouls there were in that game, and I personally thought there were plenty more that weren't called both ways. Great game from Dee and Deron, and Roger's blow by move for the one handed stuff got me off the couch to scream like a maniac out the window. Onward to the Big 10 season... Go Illini! Oh Yeah, Happy New Year Everyone! -
Great Avatar JD

That would be one slow ass team.
-
Well, I figured his rookie year he was above .300
-
Um, so does this make me a Brewer fan? Cause Carlos was one of the main reason's I watch every game. Not saying I'm switching because of one player, but my God, I would have hoped to get a hell of a lot more than a .260 hitter with lots of speed. I love Podsednik, don't get me wrong, but him and Vizcaino? That's it? This is going to take a while to get over.... :puke

Forced shots in the first half, but that was a beautiful 2nd half. Luther finally got himself an alley-oop dunk. 1st one on TV anyway. Ill be at the UC on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. (Bulls/Illini) Too bad I cant pay for parking just once. -

Oops! That was 2 years ago that I'm recalling this information. This is why you dont go by memory before making points like that... Anyway, I was thinking of this game http://fightingillini.collegesports.com/sp.../120302aaa.html We won 92-65. It seems like it was yesterday.... :rolly
