  1. I would love to see a scientific analysis on that. I think he's 1/16th of an inch from tying the game there
  2. Nostradamus told me you should watch bottom 7 here.
  3. I'm happy to see Robert conceding some fly balls that he could have easily caught. I know there was some concern after that play with Leury in Right a week ago
  4. I think that's a bit of a stretch to say especially considering we are leading MLB in Batting Average to this point...
  5. Just an FYI: During commercial breaks you can switch over to FOX, Pierzynski is one of the color commentators. And you get to root against the cubs with him
  6. If we lose tonight can we all agree on blaming it on Danny Mendick shaving his Jose Valentin stash?
  7. OMFG!!!!!!! THE UNIVERSE HATES US!!!!!! WHATS WITH ALL THESE INJURIES IN THE PAST WEEK
  8. I really like Keuchel. Such a grinder no matter what. Buehrle-esque.
  9. Wasn't there a certain poster here who was saying Abreu only hit meaningless RBI's?
  10. And the catch is as good as the Dewayne Wise catch in 09.... if thats possible
  11. yea it's almost like he's a paid professional and we are armchair keyboard warriors who criticize every thing that doesn't work and don't give credit to what does work.
  12. That stat they just showed on NBC - 521 ft home run from Mazara last year, longest in MLB 2019. I saw that LIVE in Texas. It was just by chance i was flying out of DFW the next morning so I decided to catch the game. Saw that, saw Zach collins hit his first homer, met Scotty Pods and got a photo (i learned after he's from Texas) and saw a Sox win. Definitely one of my favorite games of the decade.
  13. Between Madrigal and Robert a LOT more than you are use to with this team.
  14. One of the better turns (certainly most important) so far this season! YUUUGE!
  15. I don't know if thats on Coop. I feel like SP gets a certain "normal" approach with fans in the stands pre-game and as they walk in that builds up adrenaline/confidence/etc. and it's hard for the body to replicate that playing in an empty dome of concrete and plastic.
  16. What's Buehrle up to? I'm sure he can throw some 70 MPH fastballs at 41 and still strike guys out
