  1. Prior to last nights game the Sox were underdogs against the Twins on opening day (+125) and now they are favored to win. (-120)

I know it's just what the bookies think on paper, but if we are the favorites against the Twins... It's gonna be a fun 60 games.

  2. White Sox Record: 38-22

    Positives:

-Nomar Mazara will finally breakthrough the mediocre start to his career and have a stellar offensive impact.

-Yermin Mercedes will get a spot on the roster and manage to do some damage with his few at bats.

-Abreu will surprise people and not regress from last year

-Robert will win a gold glove & ROY

-Giolito CY Young. Watch the changeup.

    Negatives:

    -Madrigal has a slow year

    MLB general predictions:

-~10 teams will allow some capacity of fans at some point. (All postseason teams will as well)

~Field of Dreams game will have tickets but have fun with the price tag.

Because of the awful optics of the season negotiations, the rising age of the average MLB fan, and poor revenue their will be some big announcements this off season with the biggest 2 being:

    -Automated strike zone 2022

-2 team MLB expansion announced going into effect 2023-2025. (Las Vegas and either Charlotte or Nashville)

Jason and Chuck were both confused. They thought it was a BB at first and then said something like, “Oh, actually that must be strike 3” because they saw the players walking off the field. I’m pretty confident that was a BB.

Yea it was a close pitch so who knows. Regardless, Giolito's stuff today looked great.

That had to be only 9 in a row then. I was only able to watch the first inning, and he walked Vaughn to end that inning. Grandal just gave the “let’s rotate” signal with his index finger (like an umpire’s home run signal) after the BB.

Jason said 12 in a row retired I believe.

Edit: I remember that at bat. Pretty sure it was a called third strike to end the 1st.

There’s literally several cases last weekend at a golf tournament.

Texas was idiotic and I said so at the time. Allowing even 4000 fans into a ballpark is idiotic. It works as long as you have 0 sick people come in.

So even by optimistic timelines let's say we have a vaccine early 2021. Next year can we have fans? How do you prove those who come to games are vaccinated? What if there is a new strain or virus? Do we just cancel large events forever due to the chance of 1 person out of 35,000 potentially carrying something?
