  1. D'oh! I don't watch football, so that shows. I guess I used the Bills because I've always heard them as being used as a punchline. That and the Jets.
  2. Can he still play 3B too? That's more flexibility as well. I'm all for signing Castellanos. This lineup looks so much more formidable with him included.
  3. I don't know how to embed a tweet. Regardless, I'd like to think I may have had a little hand in getting this one done. Link
  4. Are people seriously running with that WSD post? If Keuchel had agreed to sign/were signing with the White Sox, we'd know already. I'd love to have either him or Ryu, but I wouldn't get my hopes up on anything until you see an official press release, otherwise you're unnecessarily setting yourself up once again for another disappointment potentially.
  5. This is someone I could envision the White Sox targeting. I would not mind taking a flyer on Yoenis to split time between RF/DH: Anthony DiComo @AnthonyDiComo One interesting effect of Yoenis Céspedes' contract restructuring: the Mets have had teams reach out the past week regarding his availability in trades, according to a source. Nothing close or imminent or even all that likely, but some initial conversations have taken place. 10:11 AM · Dec 19, 2019·TweetDeck
  6. Just because they've excelled there in the past, doesn't mean they still won't make a shitty one out of desperation.
  7. I'm all for keeping McCann, but he should not be a player you should need to be "overwhelmed" in a deal to trade.
  8. They should be more untouchable than Jerry's money.
  9. If the White Sox want Boston to eat significantly more of that contract, they will need to include prospects. The Sox have coveted Benintendi since before the Sale trade also. It's not too hard to connect the dots. What Gammons is proposing is ludicrous. However, the White Sox making such a deal, would not surprise me in the least. Probably not both, but I could see them being short-sighted enough to include at least one.
  10. Let's look at the track records and see which is more likey: A) Peter Gammons, who has always had great ties with Boston, is simply mistaken B) The White Sox front office, which has made one questionable decision after another, who have also shown an ineptitude in evaluating their own prospects, are seriously considering this.
