  1. Of course Eloy gets injured tripping on a blade of grass
  2. I heard......oh boy ninth inning meltdown here we come.
  3. Nice, Kopeck can't hold a runner and Grandal can't throw
  4. Ok, after reading Sox Talk, I'll turn on the game.
  5. Spin cycle in full tilt. White Sox GM Rick Hahn said of Burger: “Everyone in baseball should root for this kid. We’ve been clear that culture is of the utmost importance to us, and in that end, Jake Burger fits that, on the relationship side, on the human side, on the clubhouse side — it’s a difficult move to make…. Eder, we think, has a chance to be very special.“ If culture is of utmost importance to you Rick, WTF did you trade away the most likable player on the team for Eder????? Oh boy, another "special player" to add to the list of disappointments that once they come to the Sox suddenly lose that special trait.
  6. Never understood the hate for Madrigal. Even if Moncada is a better defender, at this point I would take Madrigal over Moncada. Every at bat Madrigal brings intensity and focus while Moncada calmly looks at strike three and walks back to the dugout and takes a seat. Moncada's at bats and approach seem to be contagious because no one on this team gives a damn.
  7. I'm so embarrassed that I woke up believing it's time I stopped following this team, and dare I say switch to being a Cubs fan. At least they have likable players that play the game with intensity.
  8. I'm glad I didn't see any of game, I come here to find the latest sox miscues.
  9. We watch for the same reason everyone rubber necks the crash in the opposite direction on the highway.
  10. Postgame question by Chuck to Ozzie from a fan. Do you believe Rick Hahn when he says the Sox will be better next year. Ozzie: NO, for multiple reasons, no pitchers, no second baseman....etc. except I couldn't understand him.
  11. Can't wait until they get a velocity belt from Katz...110 mph possible.
  12. Well, another way to look at it is we just saved ourselves from another underperforming International signee that never make it to the majors.
  13. Kinda like JR's other team and the former Gar/Pax brain trust in charge of building the team. We all know how that ended.
  14. Agree, she was hired by the Sox in 1991, let's not pretend that she didn't know who Rich Hahn is or that he's the GM in charge of trades. Add- I stand corrected, she was long gone by the time Hahn was hired.
  15. Usually because the other team made out in the deal and stuck the Sox with a retread or a minor leaguer that they had already passed on.
  16. But he plays great defense....LOL I'll take someone with less range (Jake) than a player who gives a rats ass.
  17. Bellinger just stole his 14th base, Cubs up 10-5, after being down 5-2
  18. I wouldn't doubt that the Royals pass the Sox by mid September. This team is broken. Broken bats, broken mitts, broken arms, broken legs Ain't no use jiving Ain't no use joking Everything is broken
  19. The Sox way...... the owner picks the Manager and the VP makes the trades.
  20. Robert has no approach at the plate, it's all or nothing with him. I'd take Bellinger right now over Robert.
