Between the Gio video and the FaceTime with Pedro and Eloy, things will be different next season that much you can count on.

I fear the bigger bases will only give Eloy more bag to trip over.

One has nothing to do with the other. definition of "gamer" a person known for consistently making a strong effort. "he's a gamer, always ready to go that extra mile" it has nothing to do with how fast you are.

Not only that but then to play him in multiple positions he hadn't played recently put a ton of pressure on him. I agree with a comment earlier that his second half tiring is because he doesn't have the legs to play the outfield. He's a gamer and will give it his all, but he makes average plays looks spectacular. I like the guy but the Sox didn't do him any good by bringing him up early only to play him out at multiple positions but not the one he was drafted for.

I understand he played out of position and he didn't spend time in the minors and he's a good hitter, but he's slow as s%*# and was projected as a DH out of college. I like Andrew and I think this team needs more of him, just wish they'd come with a better glove and were quicker.

Why would he, he's a HOF Manager and he thinks no one is smarter. Case in point would any other Manager thinking of Intentionally walking someone with 2 strikes. Hard to find a genius like TLR.

I just have a hard time believing Eloy won't get injured and miss significant time. If he manages to stay healthy (please at DH only) then we could be in for fireworks.

Supposedly Jerry told his parents he would take care of him when they signed him to his first contract as an 18 year old teenager, but please say NO. I often watch other teams 1st base coach since I sit on the 1B side and most teams coaches are constantly instructing runners on the situation. All I see Daryl do is collect their gear and give them a pat. He has to go. One may think 1B coach is not as important as a 3B coach but I disagree.

If Hahn would have acquired players that actually play the outfield position we might have a chance, but yes a left-handed warm bodied outfielder should be acquired. They don't have to be stars, look how many outfielders Atlanta acquired at the trade deadline last year that propelled them into the World Series. Solar, Duvall, Rosario, and Pederson are not stars or potential stars but were enough so it can be done. Instead we acquire old relievers who have past their prime and only play an inning or two before giving up the lead. We need position players playing the positions that they are accustomed to playing especially when Daryl Boston was in charge of coaching the first baseman to be outfielders.

He certainly can do no worse than Vaughn, Sheets, Eloy or Leury. Even if he doesn't hit for a lick, at least we'd have an outfielder that opposing runners would be hesitant about constantly taking extra bases on our first baseman, DH, and utility player.

That were actually hiring coaches that can coach is a big plus.

Terrible comparison, Judge plays multiple positions in the OF and doesn't look uncoordinated doing it. But. I hope you're right......How bout offering Eloy for Gleyber Torres and his 4.1 WAR and 526 plate appearances.

The man runs down to first base and gets injured. A smart GM would insist he plays at DH, then when he puts up numbers trade him as fast as you can before he gets injured, or worse if he does play LF of injuring our CF.

Kinda sounds like Leury, except for the 3 year 5.5 mil per year contract we gave him. Ouch.

Why would someone give JR misleading information knowing they would lose their job when JR found out if there was nothing in it for them? The only possible reason I can think of is GR paid someone on the inside to promote their offer over the others. Do you think they liked the GR name better than Wintrust, if there was no under the table money? I know the GR logo with the arrow pointed down was used by many to poke fun at the White Sox. It just doesn't make sense that JR wouldn't know about the higher offer.

I don't buy that either, like JR wouldn't be involved in reviewing the offers, ya right. Speaking of the park, I took a tour of the underbelly of the park with Jonathon Reinsdorf and someone asked him why they positioned the field looking out over the projects when they could of positioned it with a view of the Chicago skyline in a made for TV picture. He said the Sox including JR, got caught up in some weather reporting on the wind currents and basically were overthinking things. He said it was a mistake.

Eloy at 1B would be a disaster, end that idea please. He's a DH, and if you play him in the OF he's an accident waiting to happen.

NBB would make sense if it was one of the assistant hitting coaches Camilli or Snitker.

I doubt it's Kevin Long because he just signed a contract last year reuniting him with Bryce Harper. Now Alex Cintron has some ties to the Sox having played for them in 2006-07, but not sure either would make a lateral move to join the White Sox
