  1. This organization is a joke, how can they let the interim manager not know this before it leaks to JR's conduit in the media.
  2. Thanks, now I know NOT to read or listen to anything that comes from Mr Nightengale.
  3. Daryl Boston will be a White sox coach for life, he's not going anywhere which is why we won't IMO hire a manager from outside the organization.
  4. Wrong, we're still owned by JR, I'm thinking the list is short – Cairo, AJ, or Willie Harris. I even heard Chris Getz mentioned who's never managed a MLB game. Can we please break away from incompetence when it comes to hiring the next White Sox manager and go outside of the Jerry's comfort zone.
  5. While I had my doubts also, thinking this was the only way out for the Sox to salvage next years ticket sales. I don't think there are thousands of people with pacemakers who had to look at this team underperforming daily knowing deep down your managing was responsible for this mess.
  6. Sox hitters have a reputation as being aggressive hitters who will swing at anything close. This approach HAS to change and IMO is directly related to their batting coach. Part of a leadoff hitters job is to take as many pitches as possible. Our leadoff hitters have no patience, as much as Moncada has been called out looking on strike 3, at least he usually works the count to try and get an advantage. Perhaps they should think of batting him leadoff next year? Growing a little tired of no name pitchers shutting us down for 5 innings while we reach at balls outside the strike zone.
  7. There you go with the clowns again, pretty strange way of responding, but I guess if you can't think of anything to say you just add your clown emoji.
  8. That's one way to kill a thread, posting nonsense will do that.
  9. As much as I hate to admit it because I dislike cheating, but you are correct about him becoming the best player on the Sox roster.
  10. But ask Anderson if he’ll step out of the way and hand over his shortstop job to Machado, and you’ll get a much different answer. “I don’t feel like I have to bow down to nobody. I don’t feel like I just have to give something up what I worked hard for. I would love to play with him, but shortstop is mine,” Anderson said. Doesn't sound like a team player or someone trying to lure one of the top free agents at the time to the Sox. I never thought I'd call Machado a team player but here it is.....There’s been much speculation that Machado, who’s won two Gold Gloves at third base, prefers to play shortstop with his new team. However, manager Rick Renteria shot down that theory last week, telling NBC Sports Chicago that Machado “has said that he will play wherever we need him to play to help us win."
  11. At the time Machado had said he preferred SS over 3B, and Tim came out and said he was the SS of the White Sox. Instead of trying to persuade a player as good as Machado, TR took a defiant stance. Unlike TR, Machado who's was a superior SS to his credit did say he would play 3B.
  12. I agree he isn't a good defensive SS, but if he wasn't open to changing positions if the Sox signed Machado what makes you think Tim would accept a move to second base? It would become a major distraction and IMO TA wouldn't accept the move and would demand a trade.
  13. I'm in the minority, but I think TA should be traded. I've had just about enough of his change the game attitude towards baseball. He should be the one changing his game to become a better defensive SS.
  14. He did until he changed his shoe color to pink and didn't have a pink shin guard to match his shoes so he left it off. He has a white one and I believe he even had a yellow one for the yellow shoes, but they must still be making the pink guard.
  15. I don't know this to be fact, but my guess is TLR needed a clubhouse mole and told everyone how important Leury is because "He's really solid. You look at his arm, switch-hitting and playing every position. He can pitch, too. He's a really talented star player." and went on to say "I could dislike you the rest of the time here if you refer to García as a utility player."
  16. OK, which of our relievers is gonna give back the run we just scored.
  17. Obviously he didn't get the TLR memo to just take it easy and save yourself.
  18. It a shame we didn't bring up more minor leaguers to fill out our line-up because Romy and Payton came to play today unlike the other highly paid imposters.
  19. Considering it's a cross between Hawaiian and Trainwreck, you picked the correct strain to get you through the 2022 white Sox train wreck of a season we just witnessed.
  20. Baby Moncada is out of lineup again, resting his boo boo while he waits for a pink foot guard to go with his shoes.
