  1. But we were all in on Ohtani!........what a smokescreen to justify not signing anyone except Diekman at the deadline
  2. I already made up my mind and told the family I won't be renewing next year if there's no changes in the dugout, but I'll email Brooks to let him know as well. Thanks!
  3. Jerry tries to hire everyone on the cheap, for all we know LaRussa is doing this as a favor to Jerry, just so he can manage again. I doubt Jerry pays top dollar for trainers so you get what you pay for. Do you think Jerry would ever follow the Giants lead, take a look at this new 65 mil player development training complex they just opened https://ballparkdigest.com/2022/04/04/giants-unveil-new-papago-park-player-development-center/
  4. Your analogies seem reasonable to me, except Jerry keeps all his cronies forever, so the only way that happens is if Jerry turns over the team to his son Jonathan or sells the team.
  5. If only Hahn could visit the wizard of oz and ask for some balls. I agree with your statement 100%, he should of handed in his resignation the day Jerry decided on Tony, but he didn't so those words will never come out of Hahn's mouth.
  6. I had forgotten that Tony didn't manage that game, no wonder they came back and won the most exciting game of the year.
  7. Agree, as much as I still like Ozzie for bringing probably the only Sox championship I'll see if my lifetime (I'm 63) the Sox need to go outside and stop hiring former players. Bochy or Hinch were my choices, while reluctantly choosing HInch because of the scandal he still would have been 1000 x's better than TLR.
  8. When asked about Ceases effort wasted. Tony's making excuses again, the team was rallying. It was a team effort not just Cease, we had 13 hits. What a buffoon.
  9. Watched AV in the dugout last night after the game while Moncada was laughing with Super Joe, Andrew was just staring out at the field watching KC celebrate. Between him and Cueto their the only ones that seem to care.
  10. The team is mismanaged, but I'll agree Hahn has built a slow plodding team that's really built for GRF, except they have a hitting coach who takes their power away.
  11. Not trying to make him into a good or even great GM, while I understand he's the GM, my point for those who are in the room is his hands are tied by the owner.
  12. Of course it's speculation, but I believe it. HAHAHA..."GM is his title that's where the buck stops"..ya right so why wasn't the GM allowed to hire the coach (where you in the room?) who has the most important position on a young team.
  13. When you manager raves about Leury being an all around everyday baseball player, and your Manager is buddies with the owner, you have little choice but to sign TLR's man just as he signed JOe Kelley who was also TLR's boi.
  14. One theory is all players read the press clippings and what's been reported on TLR has to give you zero respect for the man. So they don't respect their manager or his approach.
  15. Disagree, TLR and his no accountability approach is what ruined this team. They were much more exciting to watch when Ricky was manager.
