  1. Don't have a scorecard but was that 8 ground ball outs and 1 fly ball in 3 innings.
  2. Have the Sox heard about the thin air in Colorado, maybe they should try to lift the ball a little instead of pounding the ball in the ground
  3. he's done Tony, get him outta here before it's 6-0
  4. he's done, stop the bleeding and get someone up in the bullpen if we want to win
  5. Gio looks like he no confidence in his pitches, he'll be gone by the 3rd if not sooner.
  6. better start worrying, the change is not working today.
  7. Bryant has yet to hit a HR in Coor's....damaged goods.
  8. White Sox don't put an emphasis on defense, just rock em sock em out of the park DH's, only problem is our DH's don't hit the ball out of the park often enough to keep four to five of them on the roster
  9. I corrected my post TA went from first to home in 10.1 seconds, still 8 seconds from second to home is impressive for Vogelbach.
  10. no offense?, you just said the man had half a brain.
  11. I'll have to consult Dr's Marcus Welby and Stephen Kiley before making any assumptions.
  12. Vaughn shouldn't be playing RF and I have reservations about Leury playing center. I would have Pollock in LF, Engel in CF, and Leury in RF
  13. The way this team is constructed we will always have at least one and usually two outfielders playing out of position.
  14. My expectations is they will try and land Quintana and another mediocre bullpen arm, when we need outfielders. If Robert doesn't get better soon, OF will be a major need as it was before he went down and now only magnified with his absence.
  15. Careful what you wish for because Eloy would have never gotten to that ball hit in the gap that AJ caught last night. We need runners that can actually run the bases, instead we move along runners one base at a time with all our DH's seemingly running in quicksand. TA went from first to home in 10.1 seconds in last Saturday's night game. We're lucky if half our runners can make it from home to first in under 10 seconds. Bring back Billy Hamilton, we should have never let him go because he can provide the outfield defense and speed this team is lacking.
  16. VV supposedly "has blisters on his fingers"
  17. We don't have to imagine because we have all acted the same way against Sox players with better averages than Joey Galo.
  18. No way he's getting DFA'd Tony is grooming Leury for Jerry so Leury can take over as Manager in two years when Tony finally calls it quits.
  19. Not disagreeing, but 8 games is a small sample. It could be the pressure he put's on himself to play a position he's not use to playing that has affected his BA in those games or caused him to make an error.
  20. James Shields was rocked in his last two starts and Hahn gave up for two minor leaguer's one of which turned into an Allstar so beware.
  21. Just joining back in.....I didn't know Tito Landrum had a wheelhouse before that game because he hadn't hit a HR all year. No, Brit was tired and should have been pulled, I remember it clearly and it was all on Tony, of course Dibinski's base running blunder didn't help in the bottom of the10th.
  22. Sox are too lazy to run all out to first base, do you actually think these million dollar china dolls playing baseball are going to run to stay in shape.
  23. What people are forgetting is TLR was booed out of town in 1986, it wasn't just Hawk that was fed up with his antics it was the fans. This was 3 years after taking them to the playoffs in 83 when bonehead left Britt Burns in the game to pitch the 10th inning and we all know what happened after that. It's kinda like Phil Jackson being the best coach on earth, ya ok when you have Jordan and Bryant coaching is a lot easier.
