  1. It's no wonder the Dodger's and Brewers both just let him walk.....hummmmm? "Catchers don't grow on tree's" and two contending teams both let him go.
  2. No doubt, if we didn't have this owner, we wouldn't have Kenny Williams, Hahn, Tony La Russa, or Daryl Boston...........etc.
  3. Thanks, being 2 years older makes sense since he's been in the bigs before. Never was good at Math.
  4. Can someone tell me why Adam Haseley isn't on this team instead of Sheets, or Harrison? He's an actual outfielder and he's left handed. I didn't realize he's two years younger than Vaughn so maybe that's the reason, but the dude hit MLB pitching with the Phillies and seems to be carrying his own in Charlotte.
  5. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he's hitting Robert 5 to protect Abreu and hopefully get him some pitches to hit to get out of his funk, but yes, it's stupid batting Moncada 3rd. Moncada should bat 5th or 6th.
  6. The little I've watched them I will say their playing a lot harder than the Sox and are more fun to watch....lose of course. Seriously they look like their playing for their jobs and having fun doing it.
  7. How is he going to get AB's when he keeps falling down, or my biggest fear is Eloy running full speed into Robert going for a ball in the gap and taking out Robert as well as himself. He's a DH, end of story.
  8. IF, and that's a BIG IF, if Tony were to leave after this year who can we expect the next hire to be? 1. JIm Thome 2. Carlton Fisk It's a joke.
  9. About to??...... this team is history. I've never felt so negative about any past White Sox team like I do about this mess.
  10. I was all in on the Sox rebuild and even bought a ticket plan before they lost out on Machado and Harper, although their pursuit is what got me to buy in. Yea they had me believing a change was coming, that change turned out to be Grandal and Keuchel, and then to take the cake they hired Tony. The rebuild although painful was more enjoyable to watch than this. The Sox are a mid level team and may someday catch lightning in a bottle like 2005 but don't hold your breath because it's not happening anytime soon.
  11. Our Manager doesn't believe in pinch hitting or defensive substitutions.
  12. The Sox would need to start by hiring a Modern GM who was allowed to hire a modern day Manager, who in turn would hire capable 1B &3B & Hitting coaches. But the real problem is JR hiring all his kiss asses over the years on the cheap.
  13. They won't call the game beforehand, been there. JR wants you to pay for parking first and buy some overpriced beer before this ones called.
  14. I missed it also, I read in the paper that Tony pulled Anderson and Abreu in the 5th. Burger replaced Anderson and Leury moved to SS, but Burger didn't get any chances.
  15. Exactly the problem, and I believe it all comes down to $$$$, why spend for a talented GM when you can hire a lackey on the cheap.
  16. all our players are flexible, which is why our defense sucks with so many players playing out of position.
  17. I wouldn't assume anything, but Tony tried him at 2B last night so he'll probably use him there and Yas at DH. Look for Leury to be playing the outfield.
  18. Exactly the problem, and I believe it all comes down to money. Why hire a talented proven GM when you can hire a lackey on the cheap which is what all JR will hire.
  19. By the time they return we may be 10 games back and out of it.
