  1. Not a fan of management but they did put in a bigger bid for Zach Wheeler this year and a competitive bid overall for the Machado fiasco last year.
  2. If the plan was to go with Dunning and then Crochet, at least stick with Dunning until he gives up a run. By warming up Crochet after a man reached base that totally distracted and ruined any confidence Dunning had, and to a further extent it effected the offense confidence. But let's dig deeper into "this plan". 1. Why would you start a rookie who had only been with the team since the end of August in a deciding game 3. Detwiler would have been a better option if they still had that option, so would Gio, or Dylan Cease anyone except a rookie that came up at the end of August. 2. Why would you follow up and inexperienced rookie with another inexperienced rookie straight out of college in a deciding game 3. 3. Why would you start Cease the day before effectively letting the A's know they should prepare for Dunning. I'll stop there, we all know the other strange decisions that followed Crochet's injury or was that how they drew up the plan the night before. Let's just hope the teams overuse of Crochet the last couple of weeks doesn't end up with TJ surgery. The future is bright, make sure to bring your shades to the next game we are allowed in.
  3. Maybe Crochet got hurt because they used a starting pitcher out of college as a bullpen mule down the stretch and in a game 3 elimination. They wore his arm out, hopefully it's just strained and not in need of TJ. Washington took the extreme caution route with Strasburg while the Sox treat their #1 pick like a rented mule.
  4. #1 RR shouldn't have shown his hand by pitching Cease the day before, Dunning was the only choice we had left and the A's knew it #2 Having another rookie warming up after your rookie starting pitcher gave up a hit #3 Going with 2 rookies in a game 3 clinching game. #4 They could have ruined Crochets career by using him the way they did the last week and the last 2 days. Let's hope it's not TJ. That set the tone for the entire game. The manager showed no confidence in his rookie pitcher or his entire team of sluggers by warming up Crochet after a hit.
  5. There's no way Nick is blowing thru a sign to try and score after yesterday....ball was hit sharply and fielded cleanly...now let's deliver some 2 out runs!!
  6. Ricky putting the pressure on himself....he's a genius.
  7. 2 rookies to start a clinching game 3 is not the best strategy. But let's see...I do like this guy
  8. He's doing fine a little nerves. Who wouldn't be nervous with the bullpen up. Way to show confidence in your player Rick.
  9. ya I spend a lot of time reading. If you really want to get some laughs go to bleedcubbieblue during a game it's hilarious
  10. Humans are not perfect....And anyone who wants robots should have their job replaced by one. Good luck!!
  11. As fans we all see the pitch go against and get furious, but I agree with Jack "Now every game is a referendum on umpires. ". Robot's are not the solution, give the ump a break. The game is moving fast and you can only make so many split second decisions with a ball bearing down on you. Now are there bad umps, yes that is true, but we are all prone to make a mistake now and then. Just don't do it to my SOX!
  12. AJ Hinch could help in the video room
  13. You need your head checked.....let's loose the game and first place, and while were at it let's lose second place in the division, only to come in third after having the best record in the American League a week ago.
  14. Chuck Garfin's afraid were gonna lose Rondon because he's down after losing the game....HE GONE....I hope.
