  1. I thought Eloy was available to pinch hit and he doesn't even have a uniform on.
  2. I'll bet he does and the year after too..... then we'll bring back Tony on oxygen to take us to the next level
  3. Never thought I say this but bring on the auto umps, heard from someone pitching in the Korean league and they love it.
  4. Jake Burger homers twice off of Pack your lunch Lance Lynn?
  5. 21 and counting so far..... https://www.foxsports.com/mlb/eloy-jimenez-player-injuries
  6. This insult just adds injury to his many shortcomings. https://cubbiescrib.com/posts/former-cubs-prospect-called-the-biggest-disappointments-in-chicago-sports-history-01htj9tw7nrw
  7. And the Sox play a man down as they wait out Eloy's injury. Cheap, cheap, cheap
  8. I'm suppose to take this information from ESPN and do what with it? After all ESPN, forgot that the Sox won the World Series in 2005 not once but twice. https://www.sbnation.com/mlb/2017/10/24/16539600/world-series-white-sox-espn-really-again
  9. I say we let Jerry move the team to Nashville and let the Mc Caskey's build the Arlington Bears a new home in Arlington Heights on the condition that the we get the Royals and the Chiefs to relocate to Chicago. Here's the Chiefs redesign that lost out to the voters who don't want any new taxes. https://www.chiefs.com/stadium/concepts
  10. Many people on this board see no value in a catcher with experience handling a young pitching staff.
  11. Than an easy solution would be to take your own advice.
  12. Do yourself a favor and ignore Southsider2k5, you'll thank me later....... believe me.
  13. How can anyone listen to Bernstein, I gave up listening to raving lunatics on sports radio years ago, now I just go to SOXTALK to get my fill.
  14. 8 beers will set you back at least $88, 1 Milkshake = $15, I think I'll tailgate to get my filling of beer and pass on both the beers and the milkshake inside the park, but my daughter can't wait to go to try it!!!!
  15. I love the pitch clock and wouldn't want to go back watching guys adjust their batting gloves 10 times or a pitcher taking his damn sweet time between pitches. Step in the box, and throw the ball, and play ball.
  16. I didn't realize it was an argument, or a trope, it was nothing more than a question.
  17. You mean the speedster Vaughn or the one who runs like he's carrying a piano on his back.
  18. JEEEZ...It's his first game and we're already critiquing the announcer, like he really makes a difference to the Sox won lost record.
  19. So the ump is suppose to ignore the rule like it doesn't exist when there's a clock in the background for all to see?
  20. He kInda reminds me of Bevington before the rage set in. Jerry would never hire an experienced manager other than brain dead Tony because he wants to think he's the smartest baseball person in the room and quite frankly he doesn't want to spend the money it would take to hire someone like Bochy. JR has had plenty of opportunities to hire a qualified manager and he always goes for the unknown or someone already on or had been on the Sox payroll. Perhaps he tried to get Bochy when he was available, but his agents most likely told the Sox he wasn't interested in a loser organization.
