At this time, Robert’s play is basically brutal. This is NOT just this month, but also the entire season last year. This is no longer a slump, he is not good. Other teams must be seeing the exact same thing. Getz will get nothing but a possible fringe prospect for Robert. Why not agree to pay 1/2 his salary and ask for a better prospect. Also, just cut Vaughn!!!

When does Getz step up to the plate and go after a player who can actually swing the bat and produce on offense? I’m not against this signing, but it would be nice if F’ing once we signed a player who can flat out rake!!!

Who will have a turnaround or a much better season next year? I’m going to go with Dominic Fletcher. Yes last year was TOTALLY brutal for him, however I really liked him at Arkansas, and i think he could turn it around next year. He’s definitely a grinder.

is there any reason why this team should not take a run at Sasaki? He’s a 22 year old top pitching prospect, isn’t that exactly who this team should target? Land a player like this and trade Crochett for a couple top prospects , and i start feeling much better about this team.

What concerns me about trading Crochet, is that Getz will not get a fair amount of talent back. The Vargas trade was a Complete Disaster, Getz is just over his head. Keep Crochet!

The question is why not sign free agents!!! If the minors were stacked with top talent, i could possibly understand the no signing of free agents, but that is not the case. This team can’t possibly be thinking about rolling out the same garbage they sent out this past season, can they? i’m not sure i’ve ever seen a sports team so openly give their entire fan base the middle finger like this team does!! Ok, so it sounds like the new manager is getting good reviews, so can someone explain why we are cutting payroll again next year? Is it not possible to still rebuild the entire organization and still go out and sign some quality free agents?

i think if We had any sort of bat at RF and 3rd base we could keep Vaughn in the lineup batting 8th, i could accept that. Yes, he’s no where close to what an acceptable first baseman should be, beit he would be acceptable.

Any thought of going into the college ranks and finding a coach. The baseball coach from university of Tennessee would be an interesting candidate. Younger, outgoing also runs a good program.
