  1. It's slow at work so as the year comes to a close, I thought it'be fun to get everyone's opinion on the following. My responses will probably be all WWE/NXT because that's what I see. Singles Match of the Year: Tag Match of the Year: Women's Match of the Year: Woman of the Year: Breakout Star of the Year: Feud of the Year: 1 Prediction for 2017: Make up your own topics.
  2. Hawk and Wimpy were fantastic. Unfortunately he's a dead horse beating cartoon character now.
  3. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 19, 2016 -> 03:28 PM) I could care less. It is that NFL contract that is the winning powerball ticket. The players don't get a damned thing from winning a national title. If they feel like sitting out to protect themselves, more power to them. Nobody is arguing with you here. We all agree with the kids.
  4. QUOTE (BRIRO2017 @ Dec 19, 2016 -> 02:06 PM) Q gets traded to a GOOD team, and he's their number 1? His numbers are going to be way worse. If you don't understand that concept you are clueless. Can you give me the Powerball numbers, Swami?

Guess I won't be seeing Passengers.
  6. Peeved that Draft Kings does not have Montgomery as RB eligible.
  7. Fournette and McCaffery skipping their bowl games and getting roasted on twitter by people who sit on their couches and watch games. This will become the norm we should expect. Especially with the playoff system. They want to be healthy for NFL prep. I don't blame them.
  8. My uncle one year gave me a purple jumpsuit. I couldn't exchange it fast enough.
  9. I thought it was just ok. I'm not a die hard SW fan like you guys though. Last 20 mins were great. Especially that Vader scene. Think the CGI grips are unwarranted. Thought it was fine.
  10. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 16, 2016 -> 10:37 PM) So is it weird when I take my dog out late at night that I'm looking for walkers I find it weird anyone watches that show.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Dec 16, 2016 -> 02:47 PM) Shouldn't we be comparing it to Saving Private Ryan with the realism of the D Day/Normandy/Omaha beach landings? Um no. Dunkirk took place in 1940. DDay took place in 1944. Duh.
  12. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Dec 16, 2016 -> 09:48 AM) This. Kind of a morbid ending to the last episode though. I don't think she killed herself but we'll see. I love the whole Shawshank homage.
  13. I like Last Man on Earth. Even with Forte who has become super annoying every episode. It is what it is. Harmless. Has some fun cliffhangers.
  14. QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 15, 2016 -> 02:22 PM) Craig Sager passed away. Cancer sucks. Sh*t. Saw yesterday he was getting some honor but when I first say the article, I thought he had passed. Maybe I'm psychic.

QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Dec 15, 2016 -> 12:27 PM) Star Wars isn't sci-fi, its fantasy. But in all the featurettes for R1 everyone described the movie as a war film, I wouldn't call it that but maybe those featurettes were made before the film was re-shot. You're trying too hard.

QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Dec 15, 2016 -> 12:14 PM) It was. I remember going with my mom to see it, we drove out to the city for my birthday to watch it, I think it was attached to I Am Legend. We did the same thing with TDKR. I think the Dunkirk prologue captured war better than R1 did. Someone described it as nerve shredding intensity and I think that's the best way to describe it. Here's a list of theaters where you can see it at: https://i.redd.it/fdeahkyb4r3y.jpg I hope a WW2 biopic depicts/captures war better than a scifi movie.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 15, 2016 -> 11:44 AM) I have no interest in seeing the first 6 minutes of a movie I absolutely plan on seeing. I agree with this. I'll see that scene when I see the rest of the film.
  18. Quick dog walk this morning. Even he was having none of this. That type of cold that hurts his paws.
  19. You're wrong. I'm right. And I agree that the booking hasn't helped. New championship is a joke. It was given to him and he is stuck in feud with same guys for 4 months. Boring. I'd like him to feud with a new guy every month.
  20. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Dec 14, 2016 -> 09:42 AM) That was a pathetic loss. The ball movement got so bad after we went up big, but the laziness / lack of effort on the defensive side is what really got me. I really really can't stand Mirotic. Agreed. If he isn't hitting 3's, he's worthless. ANd I want to shave that stupid beard.
  21. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 13, 2016 -> 08:28 PM) Alan Thicke, 69 I can't stress enough how much I loved Growing Pains as a kid. He's one of the all time great TV dads IMO and was a master stick man off camera. I'm sad.
  22. If he sucks, fine. If he's good, we can flip him in July.
  23. QUOTE (scs787 @ Dec 13, 2016 -> 07:12 PM) With guys like Owens and Joe getting over, hopefully they see that physique doesn't matter. It should matter to a point. The biggest stars in WWE history pretty much all had good physiques and are more marketable to make money. Joe is Samoan so his body type fits. KO has good matches but I'm sort of getting tired of his act already. If you take Jericho away, not sure I would care to see him right now.
