  1. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 27, 2007 -> 08:20 PM) Anyone else think it says "Gay Clubs" behind home plate? Ha, I had to look again as well.
  2. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Jun 27, 2007 -> 08:19 PM) Well, it seems I may not be around too long. Trolls are reporting me for calling them like I see them because they don't have the courage to actually back up their trolling commentary. But hey, maybe I can make some money in the meantime by selling the trolls some genuine French military rifles -- never fired and only dropped twice. Who is reporting you? The only thing you should be reported for is your hatred for Randy Orton. All you, Shadows, and I are doing is defending something we enjoy.
  3. LOL @ the Nancy Grace comment in your sig, LCR. Wish I saw it. Hopefully it will be on youtube soon.
  4. Yeah, Mackowiak belongs on this team over Sweeney.
  5. Tried watching some of this "exclusive" with Larry King right now, but she is very uninteresting to hear talk.
  6. Can we get ride of Uribe? 4 years of watching him bat has made me lose some hair.
  7. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Jun 27, 2007 -> 07:19 PM) Oh really? You can't make an excuse or defend a double murder? I didn't know that. Tragic it's been? It's not tragic for Benoit, it's tragic for the wife, kid, and anyone who loved them. You guys go on with your RIP Benoit stuff and have a ball. Such a tragedy, indeed. Since all the facts came out, who has said "RIP Benoit" here? I did when I thought it was a gas leak or some accident, but since the facts were figured out, I think he was a POS.
  8. Garland couldn't keep the ball down, neither can Buehrle.
  9. QUOTE(winninguglyin83 @ Jun 27, 2007 -> 07:15 PM) Let's remember we're talking about the same owner that let Michael Jordan and Phil Jackson walk. Jordan retired, Pippen wanted out, the dominos fell. Different situation.
  10. QUOTE(Shadows @ Jun 27, 2007 -> 06:29 PM) Yeah thats most likely what I will do, or I will order it offline.. I think I saw it for like $112 Check ebay, I see some going at $50. Not sure of condition.
  11. QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 27, 2007 -> 06:33 PM) Back in Lakeland they used little tiny razor blades that were slid under their wristbands. Not the brightest tools in the shed back then, but it got the job done when the metal chair didn't bust them up enough. That's pretty much the same method they do it now, or just do it the hard way. One of my buddie was suppose to go over the top turnbuckle during a match and down to the floor, screwed up and his forehead met the top of the turn buckel post and had a nasty gash. Had to get 20 stitches.
  12. I have a buddy who trained at the Monster Factory and 3 buddies who trained with Scott D'Amore in Canada, wrestled for Sin City in Michigan, and are now in Japan. To hear them tell me about the training they had to go through and the condition they must keep themselves in is at just as high a level as any other sport. Not only do you have to be in tip top shape, but you have to have impecable timing or else who could end your career. You put your body through so much 5 days a week, sometimes you have to take a pain killer or something to make it. Not to mention the toll it takes mentally, being on the road so much. If someone is gonna come in this thread and tell me that all it takes to be a wrestler is drugs, is jaded and ignorant.
  13. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jun 27, 2007 -> 04:36 PM) What the f***, man. Now every jackass who knows nothing about wrestling is going to go out and make s*** up about Eddie and Benoit and Crash Holly. Fixed. It's to be expected. Whenever something happens concerning wrestling, it will be ripped apart because pro wrestling isn't excepted socially by most people, and they will bury it whenever they can. So what if it is pre-determined. These guys put their bodies on the line and health every night. I'd love to see some of these jags get in a ring and just try and take basic bumps.
  14. Wasn't Offman taken off the baseball beat a year or so ago, because he reported wrong information?
  15. They talked a little about the Benoit situation on Around the Horn. It is humorous how Mariotti makes up facts to prove his point. Said both Eddie and Hennig died of steroids. WRONG. Eddie had enlarged arteries because of other drugs he used in his past and Hennig died of cocaine overdose. Both guys were probably on roids, but not the reason they passed. Now they are talking on PTI. There is no union for wrestlers, unfortunately. You can't regulate things there.
  16. QUOTE(Shadows @ Jun 27, 2007 -> 02:51 PM) Oh, don't worry.. that is coming back after im done with my Randy Orton tribute
  17. Looks like I missed all the fun today. Damn not being able to use the internet at work.
  18. I would love t o see Douglas getting crapped on by ROH fan. I have ALWAYS hated Douglas and thought he was overrated. It was great when the Radicalz ditched him and went to WWE.
  19. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Jun 26, 2007 -> 09:21 PM) There is talk that Cena may be doing another movie which means that *gasp* he may lose the strap. And Raw has a nice crop of main event heels from which to pick. Orton will win it, than one month later, lose it to HHH. Sound familiar?
  20. Nitro with a rest hold! He is teh suck!!1!
  21. Vince McMahon opens ECW saying that last night they aired a 3 hour tribute to the career of Chris Benoit but now that the facts are out, the show will go on as normal and there will be no mention of Chris Benoit and the events of the weekend. Than John Cena comes out....on ECW....after a draft....yeah.
