  1. Capps throwing the ball all over the place and in a huge jam, and Andy swings at the first pitch which wasn't even a good pitch? Holy crap.
  2. I'm not gonna flood the thread with negativity out of respect to others, so I am gonna go watch some Family Guy episodes online.
  3. Fields 2-2, but Gooch leaves him twice in scoring position with 2 outs. Must be cold in Pittsburgh.
  4. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Jun 15, 2007 -> 06:59 PM) did uribe strike out on 3 pitches with the bases choked? Yup. If a pitcher is right handed and not very good, when he faces us, just throw lefty and you'll shut us down no matter how wild.
  5. Paulie afraid of that one? Was hit right at him.
  6. Why can't we have a SS like Jack Wilson? Someone who could just hit .250. Pirates > Us
  7. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jun 15, 2007 -> 06:43 PM) DJ, Gonzalez isn't a major leaguer. So you're saying the White Sox aren't a major league team? Hard to argue with you. I like the avatar!
  8. Ha. Announcers during Yanks/Mets while Clemens was pitching to Julio Franco, said that Clemens faced Franco in his first major league start back in 84! Too funny.
  9. I don't think Jon threw one inside pitch to Nady. He was clearly looking away the whole AB. Our pitchers seem mentally weak.

    Entourage

    The Season 4 premiere this Sunday is a "documentary" about the making of Medillion. Interesting way to show the making of the movie in 30 minutes. Episode 2 is back in America. The Billy Walsh character is a jag but I always found him entertaining.
  11. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Jun 15, 2007 -> 02:59 PM) And don't ever call them refs again... Sir, yes sir.
  12. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Jun 15, 2007 -> 02:55 PM) Sad news, Sensational Sherri Martel passed away. No details other than that are available though. http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/sherripasses WHAT?? Wow, she was still relatively young and just got married, I think.
  13. Some fan in right field at Wrigley reached over the basket and deflected a ball that Cliff Floyd would of caught. Guess the baskets don't stop everyone. The half inning before that Derrek Lee hit, what could of been, a homer, but a fan dropped it and it fell back on the field and the umps only gave him a double. It was crazy watching the guy lean that far over the basket to deflect the ball. Too funny!
  14. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jun 15, 2007 -> 01:11 PM) Where are you coming from with this? I havent heard one person besides you question the level of the Spurs play. Are you just saying this because the games werent high scoring or what gives. Tony Parker was the only one that stood out to me the entire series. The Spurs didn't blow me away with their play at all. If Cleveland could of hit an open shot or two, they would of won the last two.
  15. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jun 15, 2007 -> 11:15 AM) I think Spurs win pretty easily both ways, maybe Detroit would of made it 5 or even 6 but I still think it would be pretty one-sided and obvious from the get go who would win. I don't know. Spurs didn't exactly impress anyone with the exception of Tony Parker's play. Detroit may have been able to contain him a tad more. Of course we would of had games with final scores like 65-60.
  16. When I drive to St. Louis, I get 670 the entire way. It is tougher to hear, but I could still make it out.
  17. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 15, 2007 -> 11:56 AM) Saluki magic for the win.
  18. In this series, both teams sucked. Cleveland just sucked more.
  19. My buddy is from San Antonio and a big Spurs fan. I told him a dynasty has to at least win back to back titles during the stretch and the shortened season is another knock. Sorry, Spurs. No dynasty for you!
  20. If Pods comes back and can score from 2nd on a single, I'll be happy. Do we have anyone capable of that? Owens but he is never on base.
  21. I used to not care who the White Sox faced, so when people would say, "Phew, we miss Santana this series.", I didn't care cuz I usually wanted to see the Sox go up against the best pitchers because that is how you get better as a team. But now it is a 180 and now I am saying, "Phew, thank God we are missing Gorzelanny."
